The Supply Chain Buyer is accountable for Procuring Materials to support the manufacturing and on-time delivery of our customer products. This position works strategically within the supply chain to focus on speed and cost-effective materials. They partner with internal and external partners to ensure we are building relationships that support our strategy and deliver a best-in-class experience. In the event of absence, these job responsibilities will be covered by the employees in the Supply Chain Buying Department.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities and Duties:</b></div><div>

Identifies the quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements for various materials.</li><li>
Issues Purchase Orders for materials to be delivered in time to meet production schedules in each department.</li><li>
Assists Purchasing team; as needed with sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and release of routine supplies supporting production in a multi-plant environment.</li><li>
Works closely with suppliers and freight carriers to expedite delivery of high-priority materials, and de-expedite materials when the schedule changes to avoid unnecessary expansion of inventory.</li><li>
Partners with Purchasing to Identify, implements, and documents cost savings and improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Inventories (weekly), monitors, and maintains adequate production supplies and materials to support the schedule and overall operations.</li><li>
Works directly with Purchasing, Quality and Suppliers on Non-Compliance film resolution.</li><li>
Develops and maintains positive/proactive relationships with suppliers and manufacturing.</li><li>
Works Closely with Sourcing and Executive Management in developing and managing strategic film inventory programs for large strategic customers.</li><li>
Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to produce accurate paperwork.</li><li>
Generates improvement ideas and embraces improvement projects to better the business.</li><li>
Resolves invoicing discrepancies with suppliers and accounting.</li><li>
Other duties may be assigned and are required as part of the essential functions of the position.</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Skills and Qualifications</b>:</div><div><ul><li>
Action-oriented, assertive, and diplomatic to get things done on time. This position requires multi-tasking and an individual who enjoys working with a sense of urgency and is capable of creative problem-solving to overcome challenges and hurdles in the supply chain.</li><li>
Detailed in doing required paperwork and computer inputs with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>
Ability to participate as a team member with consensus decision-making.</li><li>
Experience with business operating systems and knowledge of Windows: with some degree of proficiency (prefer Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>
Understanding of production and supplier scheduling.</li><li>
Knowledgeable of supplier processes and capabilities.</li><li>
Computer proficiency with ERP / MRP systems.</li><li>
Basic mathematical skills.</li><li>
Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes.</li><li>
3-5 years of purchasing and/or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferable. Experience in purchasing films, flexible packaging industry preferred.</li><li>
Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.</li><li>
APICS (CPIM) or equivalent certification preferred.</li></ul></div></div><p></p>

<p>Our <b>Electrical Engineer/Project Manager</b> will provide technical support to the Primary and Room Sensor Product Lines. This position will also lead small projects with cross-functional teams, working directly with customers, product management, engineering, supply chain management and manufacturing.</p><br>

<p><b>As an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager, you will:</b></p>
<ul><li>Provide technical assistance to Product Management, Technical Support and Manufacturing for the Primary and Room Sensor portfolios</li><li>
Understand application needs and translate those into product requirements</li>
<li>Lead New Product Development projects for customer specific and general market projects.</li><li>
Project manage small new development projects</li>
<li>Interface with local and global development teams and suppliers.</li>
<li>Proactively identify, document, and execute risk reduction activities to minimize Project Risks associated with Cost, Quality, and/or Timing that could negatively affect Project Plan achievement. Communicate these risks to the organization.</li>
<li>Work with Suppliers: Ensure that they meet Siemens' expectations for timing, cost, and quality in support of the Project Plan.</li><br>
</ul><br>
<p><b>You&rsquo;ll make an impact with these qualifications:</b></p>
<p>Basic Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering or another related field</li>
<li>Technical experience with various sensor technologies such as pressure, temperature, power consumption, humidity etc. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering or another related field with up to 5 years of related experience.</li><li>
Verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>
Must be able to demonstrate:</li>
<ul><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly and fabrication for electro-mechanical devices and components.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of HVAC sensor technologies</li>
<li>Ability to use personal computers and software tools, working knowledge of Siemens PLM / TeamCenter and SAP are desirable</li>
</ul><li>5% travel may be required</li>
<li>Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship</li>
</ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>
<ul><li>PMP and/or Agile certification</li>
<li>Working knowledge of SAP, TeamCenter, IBM Jazz</li>
<li>Experience in laboratory testing of sensors or other hands-on environments desirable</li><br>

The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $129,744 annually with a target incentive of 6 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.<br>
