Position Summary:</b></p><p>
The Calibration Technician II supports aerospace manufacturing and testing operations by performing precise calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement and test equipment (M&amp;TE) in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.</p><p></p><p><b><br>

Perform calibration and verification of measurement and test equipment (M&amp;TE) using approved procedures, technical specifications, and documented standards.</li><li>
Document calibration results, adjustments, and traceability information in the calibration management system and maintain accurate certification records to maintain traceability of all calibrated equipment to recognized metrology standards (e.g., NIST or equivalent international standards).</li><li>
Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment issues, including out-of-tolerance conditions, performance concerns, and equipment requiring repair or replacement.</li><li>
Manage calibration schedules and maintain compliance, ensuring equipment is calibrated within required intervals and properly labeled and controlled.</li><li>
Support audits, continuous improvement, and procedural updates to align with AS9100, ISO 17025, and customer requirements.</li></ul></div><p></p><p><b><br>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><div><ul><li>
Familiarity with AMS 2750 or related aerospace calibration and heat-treat/temperature measurement specifications.</li><li>
Hands-on experience calibrating or verifying ovens, autoclaves, environmental chambers, thermocouples, pressure systems, or thermal instrumentation.</li><li>
Experience with computerized calibration management systems (CMMS) and data analysis software.</li><li>
Familiarity with durable goods manufacturing processes and quality management systems (QMS).</li><li>
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques.</li><li>
Strong troubleshooting skills with a background in electronics repair and maintenance.</li><li>

<p>JOB TITLE: Service Technician</p><p>LOCATION: Bellevue, WA</p><p>SALARY RANGE: $23.00 - $30.00.</p><p>BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP &amp; Life Insurance after completion of the 90-day probationary period.</p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p><p>ATAGO U.S.A., Inc, has an immediate need for a Service Technician for the Service Division. This position offers opportunities for a career in a professional office environment. Candidates need to be good team players and work together with other members to achieve departmental and company targets. This position focuses on</p><p>performing inspection, repair, calibration for customers' instruments and communicating with customers for service-related inquiries.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>Learn about ATAGO devices and become an expert with each unit.</li><li>Know how to properly use, troubleshoot, and demonstrate all ATAGO products.</li><li>Perform inspection, repair, and calibration for incoming instruments.</li><li>Follow service procedures in detail to perform inspection and repair correctly.</li><li>Respond to e-mail and telephone for service-related inquiries in a timely manner and provide the best customer service. Activities include, but are not limited to:</li></ul><p>v Providing service request forms and quotations of the repair costs.</p><p>v Arrange a loaner unit at the customer&rsquo;s request.</p><p>v Responding to technical questions in English, Japanese and Spanish.</p><p>v Arrange shipment for customer&rsquo;s instruments after service is completed.</p><ul><li>Customer visits to conduct an onsite inspection in ATAGO USA territories.</li><li>Keep close communication with the customer service representative and share accurate information with customers.</li><li>Arrange to ship customers instruments after service is completed.</li><li>Prepare monthly Service activity reports.</li><li>Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Service Technician experience 2 to 3 years.</li><li>Ability to work well individually or as a team.</li><li>Organized, efficient and self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail.</li><li>Bilingual (Japanese or Spanish) a plus.</li><li>Experience/background in food science, agriculture, food manufacturing, beverage industry,</li></ul><p>chemical, pharmaceutical, or clinical knowledge a plus.</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
