Schedule is typically Monday-Tuesday clinic days, and the rest is all on-call. 
 
1099 Position pays: $728/k plus signing/relocation bonus

Responsibilities<ul><li>
Plan and administer anesthesia care for patients with all cardiac anesthesia classifications.</li><li>
Provision of pain relief and maintenance or restoration, of a stable condition during and immediately following a surgical procedure or an obstetric or diagnostic procedure.</li><li>
Assess risk of the patient undergoing surgery and optimize the condition of the patient prior to, during, and after surgery.</li><li>
Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia including performance of history and physical examination.</li><li>
Medical management of patients during the peri-operative period who are under physical and emotional stress.</li><li>
Management of post anesthetic recovery including procedural pain.</li><li>
Obtain informed consent in conformance with organization policies and procedures.</li><li>
Supervise and administer general and regional anesthesia.</li><li>
Insertion of temporary pacemaker for life-threatening arrhythmias.</li><li>
Provides direction and clinical oversight related to the medical practice of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA&rsquo;s).</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology</li><li>
At least three years of cardiac anesthesia/TAVR experience is preferred</li><li>
Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia</li><li>
NPI report printout</li><li>
Active DEA license</li><li>
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation</li></ul>
All candidates must be able to:
<ul><li>Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift</li>
<li>Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist</li>
<li>Lift up to 20 lbs</li>
<li>Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance</li>
<li>Push/pull with 30 lbs of force</li>
