The Role We&rsquo;re seeking a dynamic Case Management Supervisor to lead our case management team, oversee high-quality services for families, and drive measurable outcomes. Who You Are<ul><li>
Licensed professional: LCSW, LSW with supervisory designation, or equivalent licensed case manager (Ohio). Master&rsquo;s in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent required.</li><li>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Director of Social Services provides Social Services for chronically mental ill homeless single women. Residence operates under contract to the New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) and as a contract agency, has reporting responsibilities to DHS and is subject to inspections and audits by DHS, the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance and the Coalition for the Homeless of New York City.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide ongoing supervision to the Social Services Staff.</li><li>Supervise the Case Management Services for all clients.</li><li>Provide coverage for cases if requested by the Director.</li><li>Respond to DHS inquires.</li><li>Provide overall coverage in the absence of the Director.</li><li>Meet all performance expectations established for the shelter by Care for the Homeless.</li><li>Ensure that the program meets the contractual obligations and reporting requirements of or the Department of Homeless Services. Serve as the primary program liaison to DHS (when the Director is unavailable).</li><li>Ensure adherence to DHS policies.</li><li>Monitor cases to ensure that client services are provided in a timely fashion.</li><li>Conduct case review audits and create Corrective Action Plans as needed.</li><li>Ensure that all clients are appropriately screened, evaluated, and processed for all potential entitlements.</li><li>Train Case Management staff to identify and develop strategies on how to approach service resistant clients.</li><li>Works with the Director to Act as liaison with the community and all other community stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain a healthy and safe environment for residents and staff while ensuring that residents all are moving towards attainment of supportive housing or independent living.</li><li>Serve as the primary program liaison to DHS.</li><li>Work alongside the Human Resources Department in adhering to the HR Policies and Procedures established in the Employee Handbook and</li><li>Be responsible for maintaining effective communication with the entire staff.</li><li>Works with the Director to ensure that the shelter remains in compliance with City and State regulations.</li><li>Ensure shelter maintains its contractual compliance regarding program goals and objectives.</li><li>Direct supervision of the following personnel: Case Manager, CASAC, and other staff assigned.</li><li>Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications:<ul><li>A minimum of 3-7 years&rsquo; successful experience in the fields of: services to homeless people; clinical social work with medically frail, mentally ill, or at-risk populations. Coordinate with other departments or agencies to ensure seamless service coordination and referrals.</li></ul>
