We are seeking an experienced dynamic Corporate Relationship Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of MNC clients, with a focus on the UK corridor. These are clients with unique requirements. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver tailored banking solutions, drive revenue growth, collaborate with other business areas and engage with clients to strengthen long-term client relationships.</p><p></p><p><br>
In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>
Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio with responsibility for cross selling and product penetration.
</li><li>Pro-actively acquiring new clients that fit into the GNB framework (e.g. work as new business hunter).
</li><li>Ensure proactive relationship building/customer contact plans and pipeline management for both existing and new customers.</li><li>
Build a trustful relationship with the network globally, with a focus on UK Corridor and Sector Heads across our key markets.</li><li>
Serve as an advisor to clients with regional HQs in Qatar by leveraging on our regional network.
</li><li>Monitor the client portfolio regularly and generate quality assets using appropriate risk management tools, priced appropriately for risk and within customers and HSBC's risk appetite.</li><li>
Establish an effective working relationship with Risk to validate the accuracy of the customer risk profile and ensure sustainable asset growth.</li><li>
Maintain a proactive calling programme to service clients, ensuring senior management and key stakeholders for our top tier clients are contacted regularly.</li><li>
Ensure a quality service for all customers by owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional&rsquo;s interaction with HSBC</li><li>
Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk.</li><li>
Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures</li><li>
Keep abreast of developments, products and offerings from HSBC, competitors and market changes</li><li>
Ensure prompt escalation or sharing of relevant information relating to the client, so that members of the client coverage team can form and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the risks to HSBC by the client
</li><li>Support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making
</li><li>Provide technical leadership and support technical excellence by searching out best practice, monitoring technical and professional developments, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same in the best interests of HSBC and its customers.
</li><li>Encourage and enable constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers.</li><li>
Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Corporate Banking and Relationship Management experience managing large-corporate clients and MNCs. Experience with UK/Europe desk or corridor preferred.
</li><li>Preferred candidate will have a strong understanding of Qatar market, MENAT region, and FDI flows.</li><li>
Proven track record in business development, deal origination, identifying opportunities, and successfully on-boarding of new clients across key corridors.</li><li>
Proven experience in leading complex Global Payments Solutions, Credit &amp; Lending, Global Trade Solutions and EBS opportunities.
</li><li>Regional experience will be an added advantage.
</li><li>Experience in growing and managing a portfolio.
</li><li>Ability to position bank propositions for the region.</li><li>
Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness.</li><li>
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.</li><li>
CFA holder and/or MBA would be a value add</li></ul><div></div><p><br>
