 to perform data collection by conducting research recruiting and enrollment. The Clinical Research Assistant will recruit and screen subjects for research studies and collects baseline and follow up data from subjects. This is the first of four levels of clinical research assistants and works under the guidance and direction of senior staff.
 
 
 This position will be in support of Defense &amp; Veterans Consortium for Integrative Pain Management (DVCIPM) at the Uniformed Services University (USU) and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 U.S. Citizenship required due to site security requirements.

 Recruits and enrolls subjects for research studies. Collects baseline and follow up data from subjects. Checks for validity and accuracy of data ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements and clinical relevance.
 </li>

 Performs data entry in accurate, timely, and efficient manner. Maintains clear and accurate data collection records and inventories in accordance with Good Clinical and/or Good Laboratory practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establishes and maintains database files, creates, collects, disseminates, and maintains appropriate study data, and uploads into the established electronic data capture platform.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs sample processing, tracking, and prepares samples for shipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains supplies in the laboratory and ensures proper cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with Good Clinical and/or Good Laboratory practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs scientific literature searches, identification, and retrieval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other administrative duties that will assist in the development and submission of papers, abstracts, and manuscripts, presenting studies or production of study protocol manuals and data collection instruments.

 The Clinical Research Assistant I, in Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) Lab at UT Southwestern works under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator to support and coordinate clinical research activities.

Biospecimen processing, handling, and shipment- derived from cancer clinical trials (blood, urine, saliva etc.)
 
Basic research laboratory management skills.
 
BSL2 laboratory experience is preferable, including but not limited to specimen processing and laboratory support in a research laboratory setting.

Clinical Research Assistant I - Critical Care Institute

HJF is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant I HJF to perform data collection by conducting research interviews. The Clinical Research Assistant will recruit and screen subjects for research studies and collect baseline and follow up data from subjects. This is the first of four levels of clinical research assistants and works under the guidance and direction of senior staff.
This is a Phase 2 randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study that will evaluate multiple potential therapeutic interventions for PTSD utilizing an adaptive platform trial design and cutting-edge techniques for measuring outcomes. Subjects are randomized among the multiple cohorts in the study and the resulting randomization enables sharing/pooling of control subjects, where all interventions may be compared to a common control (placebo).
This position will be in support of the Department of Psychiatry / Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress.
The Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS) is one of the nation's oldest and most highly regarded, academic-based organizations dedicated to advancing trauma-informed knowledge, leadership, and methodologies. The Center's work addresses a wide scope of trauma exposure from the consequences of combat, operations other than war, terrorism, natural and human-made disasters, and public health threats, as well as risk and protective factors associated with suicidal behaviors.
