What you will do
The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, using relationships, and closing new business for Johnson Controls Security and ensuring customer retention. This person is the Johnson Controls Security &quot;brand steward&quot;, charged with telling the Johnson Controls Security story and clearly demonstrating that Johnson Controls Security is the leading electronic security provider. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for securing profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued Johnson Controls Security Commercial customers while improving customer satisfaction and retention by initiating post installation follow-ups. This rep will also have a commanding knowledge of our product line, as well as that of our services.
How you will do it<ul><li>
Adhere to current Johnson Controls Security policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
</li><li>Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls Security products and services to new local commercial customers.</li><li>
Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities.</li><li>
Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet the customers' expectations.</li><li>
Renew existing customer agreements.</li><li>
Responsible for resale opportunities within an assigned territory Identify prospects using creative lead-generating techniques and maintain productive working relationships with existing customers.</li><li>
Independently establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics, and consistently apply time and territory management techniques.</li><li>
Follow up with prospects.</li><li>
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services and customers' issues and needs through in-house training and reading/research.

Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.</li><li>
Conduct post-installation follow-up by contacting customer, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service

About the Role
The Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) is responsible for driving new payments growth by acquiring large multi-location churches and denominational offices and converting them onto ACST powered by Vanco&rsquo;s integrated giving and payments platform. The primary focus of this role is identifying, engaging, and closing new enterprise-level payment deals, often in environments with complex financial workflows, multiple locations, decentralized systems, and high transaction volumes.
You will lead consultative, value-focused conversations with senior ministry and finance leaders to replace fragmented giving tools, streamline payment operations, and deliver measurable financial and ministry outcomes.
After closing the deal, the EAE ensures a smooth, structured handoff to onboarding, ministry success, and account management teams to support long-term adoption and expansion.
What You Will Do<ul><li>Build strong relationships with leadership at large churches already using ACST or related solutions.</li><li>Identify churches currently using third-party giving or payment platforms and develop strategic plans to migrate those ministries onto ACST powered by Vanco&rsquo;s integrated giving and payments capabilities.</li><li>Lead discovery conversations to understand how ministries currently manage giving, donations, reconciliation, reporting, and multi-campus financial operations.</li><li>Develop a deep understanding of each ministry&rsquo;s mission, operational priorities, and financial workflows.</li><li>Present integrated solutions that simplify donation management, improve financial visibility, reduce operational complexity, and lower total cost of ownership.</li><li>Guide churches through the transition from third-party giving providers to the ACST powered by Vanco ecosystem.</li><li>Coordinate internally with product, implementation, ministry success, and finance teams to ensure successful migration planning.</li><li>Manage opportunities through complex decision processes involving executive pastors, finance leaders, boards, and technology teams.</li><li>Ensure clear documentation and structured handoffs to onboarding and ministry success teams after contract execution.</li><li>Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.</li></ul>

Requirements:

Who you are:

The annual starting base pay for this position typically starts between $90,000 - $150,000, not including commission.
