Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Safely operate a commercial vehicle (trash truck, roll-off truck, etc.) to collect waste and recyclables.</li><li>
Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.</li><li>
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups.</li><li>
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and report any maintenance or safety issues.</li><li>
Load, transport, and unload trash, recycling, and other waste materials at designated disposal facilities.</li><li>
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.</li><li>
Assist with additional tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the vehicle, reporting missed pickups, and documenting daily work logs.</li><li>
Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure route efficiency and timely service.</li><li>

Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement.</li><li>

Perform vehicle inspections as required.</li><li>
Operate mobile apps on the phone for ELD and proof of delivery.</li><li>
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery.</li><li>
Follow all safety rules for equipment and material handling as required by DOT, OSHA and Company safety program.</li><li>
Ensure all orders are delivered in good condition and in full as per the bill of lading.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with operations staff about customer concerns.</li><li>
Utilize material handling equipment, such hand trucks.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
What you need to succeed:</b></div><ul><li>
Current CDL Class A license</li><li>
No preventable motor vehicle violations within the last 12 months</li><li>
Current medical certification card.</li><li>
One or more years&rsquo; experience driving a tractor trailer.</li><li>
General fluency in English required, verbal and written</li><li>
Basic computer literacy preferred</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
