Lead Mechanical Engineer (O)

People Dynamics

<ul><li>Minimum 15 years&rsquo; experience in Oil and Gas plant commissioning and pre-commissioning, covering multi-disciplinary scope including wellhead platforms, process and utility equipment, PLCs, control systems, ESD systems, electrical equipment, F&amp;G systems, UPS, downhole gauges, RTU, multi-phase flow meters, radio communication, switchgear, etc.</li><li>At least 5 years offshore project experience required.</li><li>Proven experience with opercom methodology and completion management systems (e.g., ICAPS, Win PCS).</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical completion and facility handover processes.</li><li>Experience in reviewing contractual documentation and supporting proposal/tender teams for commissioning scope.</li><li>Ability to manage commissioning activities cost-effectively within budget and schedule.</li><li>Skilled in controlling vendor requirements onsite and maximizing resource utilization.</li><li>Capable of preparing commissioning engineering documents, method statements, and dossier preparation for smooth handover.</li><li>Provide technical guidance during procurement phase to Project Manager.</li><li>Strong HSSE awareness with proven ability to promote and maintain safety standards.</li><li>Prepare, review, and maintain pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans, schedules, and resource mobilization.</li><li>Develop and review pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance test procedures.</li><li>Assist procurement group in defining vendor assistance requirements.</li><li>Manage execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.</li><li>Prepare commissioning progress reports for project management and commissioning departments.</li><li>Coordinate vendor representatives&rsquo; support during commissioning.</li><li>Assist Project Manager in client coordination for plant handover.</li><li>Ensure timely preparation and submission of final commissioning reports and certificates.</li><li>Initiate or review change requests as necessary to address project needs or scope changes.</li><li>Demonstrate exemplary HSSE behaviour and ensure safety standards are communicated and adhered to throughout commissioning.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
