SALARY

<li>Controls Engineer I: Base Salary Range: $68,000 - $98,000 annually.</li>
<li>Controls Engineer II: Base Salary Range: $82,000 - $112,000 annually.</li>
<li>Controls Engineer III: Base Salary Range: $98,000 - $128,000 annually.</li>

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

What would a typical day be like?
<ul><li>Controls Engineer will work on various stages of automation and control projects including: electrical design, PLC programming, HMI and SCADA design and development, Networking design and troubleshooting/testing/debugging</li>
<li>Provide written functional requirement specifications and sequence of operation documents</li>
<li>Interface with Mechanical and Electrical engineering to develop robust and efficient to program designs over multiple projects.</li>
<li>Mentor controls engineers in technical aspects</li>
<li>Assist others remotely</li>
<li>Assist in the development of programming estimates</li>
<li>Deep dive into programming details of controls engineers to troubleshoot issues</li>
<li>Write PLC programs for newly developed machines using templates and programming standards</li>
<li>Enforce the use of programming standards and templates</li>
<li>Debug and commission machines</li>
<li>Deliver an extraordinary customer experience by interfacing with clients and project managers to provide status updates, attend client field service and emergency calls, partake in customer meetings, and ability to share your technical expertise</li></ul> 


What qualifies you for this opportunity?

<li>A go-to resource for other PLC programmers</li>
<li>The ability to take charge of a situation, find the proper solution and lead a team to its execution</li>
<li>Mastery of PLC programming.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Experience with motion control, servo drives, and VFDs.</li>
<li>A detailed understanding of connecting with and utilizing vision systems, laser systems, MES systems, or Warehouse Systems (WES, WMS, or WCS)</li>
</ul><ul><li>Desire and ability to help others troubleshoot remotely exercising patience and understanding.</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and an ability to travel; Controls Engineers at CGX should have the ability to travel within the US and Canada</li>
<li>Engineering graduate in Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Systems Design, or equivalent experience/technical degree</li></ul>

We have a Controls Engineer Internship available in Tigard, OR. This position entails developing PLC/SCADA/HMI programming skills through process automation and controls projects. The intern will be exposed to industrial software applications (industrial standard S88), GMP and GAMP5, read and understand P&amp;IDs, high-level project management, and system integration (PLC/hardware, IT, etc).

Major Responsibilities
