<div><p>In this role, experience with various cleaning techniques, supplies, and machines is helpful but not a must as on-the-job training will be given. You will be responsible for providing floor care from daily cleaning to stripping and waxing through the operation of all custodial equipment including automatic floor scrubbers, floor polishers, vacuum cleaners (wet and dry), carpet extractors, and the use of dust mops, damp mops, mop buckets, and wringers. Work involves performing thorough cleaning to include disinfecting offices, hallways, lounges, restrooms, and shower rooms with the appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and tools. You will also be responsible for cleaning occupied student living quarters.<br>

<p><b>Job Summary</b></p>
<p>
Big Sandy Community &amp; Technical College is seeking 1 Part-time Facilities Worker at our Pikeville Campus. Shifts are 9:00-1:00 and 2:00-6:00.</p>
<p><b>Job Duties:</b></p>
<ul><li>Maintains grounds to insure the proper time to care for plants, water, reseeds all
</li></ul> landscape and grounds plantings such as grass, trees, shrubs and flowers.<br>
<ul><li>Maintains related landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment. Mows, weed-
</li></ul> eats/edges, and removes snow utilizing mowing machines and other equipment.<br>
<ul><li>Order and pick up supplies as needed.</li><li>Performs room set-up for events, assembles and delivers furniture, and moves and/or
</li></ul> hauls equipment/furniture as needed.<br>
<ul><li>Includes custodial work as needed such as cleaning, disinfecting, floor
</li></ul> maintenance, and trash disposal.<br>
<ul><li>Assists with routine maintenance on campus.
</li></ul>May have to travel to assist at other campuses or work other shifts as needed.<br>
<ul><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>
<p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p>
<p>
High School Diploma or GED</p>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>
<p>
1 to 2 years Experience Preferred.</p>
