Summary:</b></div><div>
The Cyber/Information Assurance Security Advisor manages cybersecurity and information assurance for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems in accordance with Intelligence Community (IC) Directive 503.</div>
Responsibilities:
<div><b>
Essential Job Functions:</b></div><ul><li>
Cybersecurity Management: Manages and maintains security files. Conducts security impact analyses, compliance testing, and vulnerability management through network scanning. Develops and maintains hardware/software baselines and system data flow diagrams.</li><li>
Compliance: Creates and manages System Security Plans (SSPs), Continuous Monitoring (CM) plans, and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs).</li><li>
Security Operations: Performs security assessments and evaluates software/hardware products. Administers, manages, and facilitates the remediation of information system security incidents and any negligent disclosure of classified information.</li><li>
Support Functions: Assists with trusted agent duties for public key infrastructure (PKI). Executes site surveys and security program assessments. Manages registrations for ports, protocols, and services.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:</b></div><ul><li>
Strong analytical skills, excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency.</li></ul><div><b>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a relevant Information Technology field or related discipline. Must be DoD 8570.01-M (or current standard) IAM Level II certified.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in cyber and information assurance experience out of the last 12 years.
</li><li>Possess technician-level experience creating, managing, and maintaining hardware/software baselines; POAMs; SSP documentation; security assessment results; CM plans; compliance testing results; package registration and decommissioning actions.</li><li>
Active TS/SCI clearance is required.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
