<li>Met with a customer's records management team to understand their legacy data structure and translate it to the Mark43 schema</li>
<li>Dug into a uniquely formatted source database to uncover edge cases and ensure data fidelity</li>
<li>Worked alongside Mark43 deployment, engineering, and product teams to iterate on and improve our migration tooling and process</li>
<li>Balanced project timelines and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders</li>

<p>
We're looking for a <b>data migration engineer with 2+ years of experience</b> in ETL development or SQL-based data engineering roles. You should have a comprehensive understanding of data migration processes and be comfortable owning projects from discovery through delivery. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity will be key to success.</p>

<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>

<li>2+ years of experience in a data migration, ETL development, or SQL development role</li>
<li>Deep understanding of SQL and relational database design</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience writing complex SQL scripts</li>
<li>Ability to analyze and translate legacy data models into new schemas</li>
<li>Experience managing contractor deliverables is a plus</li>
<li>Interest in public safety data and the impact of high-quality migrations on customer success</li>
<li>Prior work with public safety or government systems is a bonus</li>

<p><i>We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a </i><i>target </i><i>base</i><i> annual</i><i> salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus bonus opportunity, company stock options, and a full benefits package, including </i><i>health insurance, paid time off, and</i><i> a 401k with a company match. Please note that the higher end of this range will be reserved for candidates with appropriate experience who reside in high cost of labor locations.</i></p><div><p>
