The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day and maintaining the truck and equipment. 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Compliance of company, state and federal guidelines particularly as it relates to OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel. Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order. Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer. Secures mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck. Navigates routes to the job site.</li></ul> 
Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately. Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials, such as drywall materials and joint compound. Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.</li><li>
Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate. information in these situations.</li><li>
Constantly working in an outside environment while making deliveries.</li></ul>

 PURPOSE OF POSITION:
 
 The Delivery Driver Helper partners with a Delivery Driver and works as a team to provide exceptional customer service to all accounts with product delivery, rotation, and merchandising. Assists driver with delivery of product merchandising within large volume stores. While at an account the Driver Helper is responsible for stocking shelves, rotating product, setting up displays, cooler stocking, product rotation, storage room organization, and the efficient movement of product from storage to the sales floor.

 Essential Functions
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Assist with deliveries to all scheduled accounts while adhering to all applicable driving and safety regulations.
 </li>

 Unload and move product repetitively using appropriate equipment throughout shift while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
 </li>

 Stock all windows, cold boxes, coolers, shelves and displays in retail accounts quickly and efficiently as directed by the Delivery Helper Supervisor/Lead Helper/Driver.
 </li>

 Rotate product to ensure quality standards are maintained.
 </li>

 Effectively communicate issues and opportunities to the Route Driver/Lead Helper or Supervisor as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

 QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

 High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous stocking/merchandising in grocery, retail, or beverage experience a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid Montana driver&rsquo;s license and the ability to be insured under a company insurance policy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).
 </li>

 Good interpersonal and communication skills.
 </li>

 Ability to work on own initiative and independently with good time management.

 This position requires a minimum of four 10-hour days Tuesday &ndash; Friday, with rotating Saturdays. The shifts, end times, and total hours worked may vary depending on the season and amount of deliveries, sometimes exceeding 10 hours.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
