 Accountabilities:
 
 
 <ul>

 Aware of latest marine industry practice for structural outfitting for ships and supports Engineers to establish and review design engineering process phase deliverables.

 Design &amp; develop structural details not limiting to preparation of Shop fabrication drawings, Assembly plans, Nesting plans, Weld maps, Connection details, Material Take Off (MTO) etc. for different types of Ship &amp; Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODUs).

 Develops detailed Engineering drawings based on the concept developed the Structural Engineer in line with the Class rules &amp; yard standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts site surveys as per the work scope along &amp; Prepare field checks, take dimensions &amp; site modification proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops Structural Material Take Off (MTO) based on the work scope &amp; survey.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop 3D Model from the Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings &amp; export shop drawings for fabrication.
 </li>

 Develop Lifting Plans for structural modules &amp; design of Jigs &amp; fixtures required for fabrication.
 </li>

 Develop drawings within the Estimated drawing schedule prepared by the Engineer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that drawings are checked before issuance to avoid rework by carefully updating the drawing check list
 </li>

 Experience:

 <li>
 At least 5 years' relevant experience in drawing development of offshore structure such as Jackets, TOP sides, Jack up rigs (new ne Build).
 </li>
 <li>
 A very sound knowledge of auto computer aided design (ACAD) is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Steel detailing Software TEKLA is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant experience in Marine design, preferably in shipyard with at least 5 years of core experience in ACAD.
 </li>

Role Purpose:To support the Project Manager in planning, execution, coordinating, and monitoring all phases of steel structure &amp; Process Piping projects &mdash; from engineering, procurement, fabrication and site activities &mdash; ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement &amp; Material Readiness<ul><li>Monitor procurement status of materials and components based on project schedule.</li><li>Verify material availability and match with erection sequences.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement and store teams for dispatches to site.</li></ul>4. Fabrication &amp; Erection Follow-up<ul><li>Liaise with the fabrication department to ensure prioritization as per erection sequence and delivery.</li><li>Verify readiness of items (NDT, painting, final inspection, tagging and delivery) for dispatch.</li><li>Prepare and verify the site readiness checklist and erection planning inputs.</li><li>Coordinate with Site Engineers to ensure accurate installation and for daily reports.</li></ul>5. Communication &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Conduct internal coordination meetings and attend client/project review meetings.</li><li>Escalate delays or risks to the Project Manager with mitigation plans.</li><li>Prepare and submit weekly progress reports and client reports.</li><li>Maintain logs for RFIs, NCRs, drawing approvals, submission approvals, delivery notes, and inspection reports.</li></ul>6.
