 Your Role

 Review mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) designs, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.

 The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing technical engineering support for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment within oil &amp; gas or large-scale industrial projects. The role ensures that all mechanical engineering deliverables comply with project specifications, international codes (API, ASME, etc.), safety standards, and quality requirements. The engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to achieve project objectives safely, on time, and within budget.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Design &amp; Engineering:

 Prepare, review, and approve mechanical engineering deliverables including equipment specifications, data sheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews.

 Develop and check mechanical drawings (general arrangements, piping layouts, equipment layouts) using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent software.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform mechanical calculations (stress analysis, load ratings, thermal expansion, etc.) as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, NFPA, ASTM, etc.) and client specifications.

 Installation &amp; Commissioning:

 Oversee and supervise mechanical equipment installation (pumps, compressors, vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping systems, rotating equipment, etc.) at site.

 Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including preparation of procedures, checklists, and punch lists.

 Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation, startup, and operational phases.
