Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in data center electrical design, commissioning, and facility operations. The role encompasses the full lifecycle of electrical and building services systems&mdash;from Basis of Design (BOD), detailed design, and Issued-for-Construction (IFC) documentation to installation, Testing &amp; Commissioning (T&amp;C), operations, and final system handover.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Electrical System Design &amp; Documentation</li><li>Lead the design of low- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, emergency power systems, grounding and lightning protection, and data center lighting.</li><li>Prepare IFC-ready drawings, technical specifications, schematics, and sequences of operation.</li><li>Ensure designs support high availability, redundancy, and mission-critical operations.</li><li>Building Services Coordination</li><li>Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, and firefighting teams to ensure integration of HVAC, water supply, drainage, and firefighting layouts into the electrical and operational design.</li><li>Review and finalize operation-ready layouts and design documents for all building services systems.</li><li>Project Execution &amp; Cross-Disciplinary Coordination</li><li>Work closely with civil, mechanical, fire protection, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and building services systems.</li><li>Drive on-time project delivery while maintaining design integrity, operational compliance, and system reliability.</li><li>Site Oversight, Operations &amp; Commissioning</li><li>Supervise on-site installation, cable management, equipment testing, and system integration.</li><li>Testing &amp; Commissioning (T&amp;C) activities and ensure smooth operational handover of all electrical and building services systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot site-level issues for electrical, HVAC, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems.</li><li>Technical Leadership &amp; Stakeholder Management</li><li>Provide guidance on engineering RFIs, design clarifications, and technical problem-solving.</li><li>Liaise with Engineer of Record (EOR), clients, and vendors to maintain project standards, compliance, and operational excellence.</li><li>Innovation &amp; Technology Integration</li><li>Evaluate and implement cutting-edge electrical and building services technologies.</li><li>Optimize energy efficiency, system reliability, and mission-critical performance across electrical and mechanical systems.</li><li>Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance</li><li>Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, local authority regulations, and data center best practices.</li><li>Lead inspections, risk assessments, and final handover documentation for all electrical and building services systems.</li><li>Continuous Improvement</li><li>Identify opportunities for energy optimization, system reliability enhancement, and operational risk mitigation.</li><li>Drive process improvement initiatives for best-in-class electrical and building services performance.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering.</li><li>4&ndash;10 years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial electrical engineering.</li><li>Expertise in LV/MV power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, grounding systems, and electrical infrastructure design.</li><li>Proven experience in IFC drawings, technical specifications, commissioning, and operations of electrical and building services systems.</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems integration with electrical infrastructure.</li><li>In-depth understanding of international electrical standards, data center best practices, and local authority regulations.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead projects from design through commissioning and operational handover, ensuring high reliability and operational excellence.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR5,500.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month

PURPOSE:Responsible for the design, installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in wastewater treatment plants, package treatment plants, and pumping stations.
