 Job Summary
 
 
 
 As a Design Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the design team in the development of workplace solutions for new and existing clients. You will work alongside a team of dynamic, creative workplace designers, practicing high standards for design, providing a high level of customer satisfaction, and serving as a supportive &amp; collaborative member of a dynamic project team.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Assume responsibility for the completion of designated design tasks under the supervision of design mentor.

 Assist with the creation of furniture thought starters, curated furniture options, fabric and finish palettes, and renderings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and update project-specific furniture, fabric, finish, and typical approval packages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contact vendors and obtain product pricing and quotations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and update project-specific furniture specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Order project-specific fabric/finish samples.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate testing of COM (customer&rsquo;s own material) with vendors.
 </li>

 Assist with the preparation of client meetings, and presentations.

 Attend client meetings &amp; presentations with designers, as needed.
