About the role:
The Ecommerce and Marketplace Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our online sales channels, including our own ecommerce platform and third-party marketplaces. We&rsquo;re looking for an energized and collaborative team player, as this role will be interacting cross-functionally with several teams across the organization. This role combines strategy, merchandising, marketing, and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience and maximize online sales for our business. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Partner with the Senior Manager of Ecomm to develop an overall e-commerce growth strategy and optimal customer experience in partnership with our Marketing, Merchandising, Planning and Digital Product Management teams</li><li>
Analyze key traffic and conversion trends alongside adjacent teams on relevant business and customer analysis</li><li>
In partnership with Ecomm leadership, build business cases and advocate for new strategic initiatives or channels to support ecommerce growth to reach new customer bases and drive revenue (for ex ShopApp)</li><li>
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive traffic to online commerce channels through SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital channels</li><li>

Position Overview

The Associate Manager, Ecommerce &amp; Product Operations, is a key player in driving seamless online product operations across multiple digital sales channels and brand sites. This role manages the full product information lifecycle, supports test product setup, troubleshoots middleware integrations with dropship partners, and oversees product feed coordination to enhance customer experience and maximize sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Information Management (PIM):

Hiring Range:
$143,424.00 USD - $179,280.00 USD annually

 Role Overview:
 
 
 
 Support the execution of category strategies and daily trading operations, using data insights, customer behavior, and market trends to help drive revenue, margin, and site performance across digital platforms. Coordinate and optimize key ecommerce functions including site merchandising, pricing, promotions, product readiness, and omnichannel fulfilment to ensure a seamless and commercially effective customer experience.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>

 Assist in the development and execution of category strategies to maximise revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct market research and analyze data to identify growth opportunities and competitive trends within the category.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the delivery of the sales and margin of owned categories, monitor performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with development and management of category budgets, forecasting revenue and KPIs accurately Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights into category performance and customer behavior.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and present regular reports on category performance, sales trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
 </li>
 <li>
 Present in weekly trade meetings; an overview of business performance as well as suitable data driven actions points to drive business metrics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track key metrics such as GPV, UPT, Conversion, AOV.
 </li>
 <li>
 Daily site checks of key web/app links, product availability and findability within them and their visual merchandising.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and analyse onsite customer experience for your categories identifying opportunities to drive users further through the conversion funnel to product pages and beyond.
 </li>
 <li>
 Periodic reviews and updates of the homepage menus and web/app filters vs global sites and local trends and campaigns to optimise user experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Raising &amp; testing bugs and performing UATs basis areas of responsibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create ongoing trading calendar ensuring alignment with retail campaigns, checking readiness of campaign products, adjusting for regional nuances.
 </li>
 <li>
 Brief content requirements to relevant teams as needed in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in testing of any new features.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan &amp; oversee execution of visual merchandising across key categories balancing commercial opportunities with brand priorities and visual aesthetics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with CRO and analytics to measure and optimize.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure alignment with local (retail) pricing &amp; promotional calendar, executing for.com as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure price changes go live as expected.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor competitor promotional activity and key product pricing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor omnichannel fulfilment reports (rejection &amp; SLA data), identifying and taking actions regarding buffers, priorities and active status by store.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify omnichannel opportunities and risks and highlight as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in testing of any new functionalities relating to omnichannel
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide monthly store level volume forecasts as directed
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide volume forecasts to warehouse team
 </li>
 <li>
 Review size health on key categories and products, driving analytics for data &amp; reports where needed and addressing issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with catalog team to check readiness for key products and seasonal launches
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and deactivate products as needed, based on commercial parameters including age of product, selling price and profit%, understanding the impact on sales &amp; profit of these decisions
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee and guide inventory transfers across markets
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and mentor x direct reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members.

 Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and expertise.

 Key Skills &amp; Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proficiency in using website content management systems and e-commerce platforms such as Salesforce, Akeneo, Fluent, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to interact with multiple software systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, buying &amp; merchandising, content, and operations to ensure seamless execution of category strategies and campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with Product Managers to ensure issues/bugs are reported and resolved, and also identify features to help user experience.
