The Cluster Director Engineering will lead the engineering operations across both Waldorf Astoria Kuwait and Hilton Resorts Kuwait. The leader will oversee pre-opening preparations (if applicable), strategic planning, energy management, and the development of a strong engineering team across both properties.
Position Summary:
Support the Hotel Management Team and Regional Safety &amp; Security Manager in respect of occupational health &amp; safety, food safety, fire safety, security, crisis management and disability compliance. The role involves the provision of advice and support for the protection of the company&rsquo;s owned and managed assets and to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies related to all safety disciplines. Key Responsibilities
As Cluster Director Engineering, you are responsible for the effective management of all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including energy conservation. The candidate will work closely with functional, technical, and finance teams to design, implement, and optimize data models, ensuring data accuracy and reporting readiness throughout the program.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Data Integration &amp; Migrations</li><li>Assess and design data mapping between Oracle EBS R12 and SAP S/4HANA.</li><li>Configure and optimize SAP Datasphere for extracting, transforming, and harmonizing legacy Oracle data into S/4HANA.</li><li>Support data cleansing, enrichment, and validation to ensure data quality for reporting and analytics.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Analytics</li><li>Develop management reporting dashboards and statutory/financial reports using SAP Data sphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or other relevant reporting tools.</li><li>Implement IFRS allocation models and ensure compliance with local GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting structures.</li><li>Gap Analysis &amp; Solution Design</li><li>Identify gaps between Oracle EBS legacy data structures and SAP S/4HANA reporting requirements.</li><li>Recommend and implement data modeling solutions in SAP Datasphere to bridge these gaps.</li><li>Ensure alignment with SAP best practices for data management and analytics.</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Management</li><li>Partner with SAP functional consultants (FI/CO, Group Reporting, Controlling, etc.) to align reporting structures.</li><li>Support business stakeholders in adopting new reporting capabilities.</li><li>Liaise with external vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth delivery.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Core Expertise</li><li>Proven experience with SAP Datasphere (SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) including data modeling, integration, and consumption.</li><li>Strong background in data migration and reporting from Oracle EBS (R12) to SAP S/4HANA.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and visualization.</li><li>Understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting processes (Group Reporting, Consolidation, Allocations).</li><li>Technical Skills</li><li>Knowledge of ETL processes, data harmonization, and transformation logic.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and integration technologies (ODP, SDI, APIs).</li><li>Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) data structures and reporting tools.</li><li>Familiarity with Oracle EBS R12 data model, especially finance and controlling modules.</li><li>Functional Knowledge</li><li>Understanding of finance and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, CO).</li><li>Exposure to statutory and management reporting requirements across multiple geographies.</li><li>Experience in financial consolidations and allocation models.</li><li>Other Requirements</li><li>8+ years of experience in data &amp; reporting roles, with at least 3+ years in SAP Datasphere/SAC.</li><li>Prior involvement in ERP transformation/migration projects (Oracle &rarr; SAP) preferred.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a cross-functional and global team environment.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience with SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning &amp; Consolidation).</li><li>Familiarity with local statutory compliance reporting tools.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud integration platforms (CPI, Azure, etc.).</li><li>Exposure to data governance and security best practices.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of experience do you have working with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)?</li><li>How many years of experience do you have with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)?</li><li>Have you worked on any Oracle EBS to SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects?</li><li>Do you have experience in data modeling, integration, and reporting in SAP Datasphere?</li><li>Do you have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) data structures?</li><li>Have you been involved in ERP transformation or migration projects?</li><li>What is your current and expected salary?
