Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></p>
<p>
To ensure the profitability, efficiency and creativity in each Food and Beverage venue including banqueting, outside catering events and in-room dining.</p>
<p>
To partner with Sales &amp; Marketing to increase exposure and coverage of the Food and Beverage venues in various local and international media.</p>
<p>
To analyze and control food and beverage cost in order to achieve financial targets.</p>
<p>
To approve menus, prices and promotional events for all Food and Beverage venues in order to maximize revenue generating opportunities.</p>
<p>
To identify areas for improvement in service and food and beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports, guest comments and guest incident reports, and formulate action plans.</p>
<p>
To encourage proactive, efficient and effective inter-departmental communication and working practices in order to promote a climate of teamwork, enthusiasm and productivity.</p>
<p>
To conduct and assist colleagues counseling and disciplinary procedures in accordance with Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum procedures.</p>
<p>
To develop, implement and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures for the division.</p>
<p>
To be part of the Executive Committee team and provide advice and support in decisions and projects relating to the entire property.</p>
<p>
To manage budget of the entire Food and Beverage Division, monitor and control the expenses and ensure that there is no substantial overrun of costs.</p>

What you will be doing:</p><p>
Provide positive leadership to all people within the Food &amp; Beverage Department, recognizing that productivity and guest satisfaction are best achieved via a positive workforce.</p><p>

</p><p><b>Supports Training and Development Activities</b></p>
<ul><li>Ensures disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participates in training staff on menu items including ingredients, preparation methods and unique tastes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists as needed in the interviewing and hiring of employee team members with appropriate skills.</li></ul><p><br>

<ul><li>Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.</li></ul>
