Job Purpose:
</b></p><p>The Director of Strategic Communications serves as GSI&rsquo;s lead communications strategist, responsible for shaping and advancing the organization&rsquo;s messaging, brand, and public voice. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role develops and implements communications strategies that support GSI&rsquo;s strategic initiatives, strengthen engagement with partners and stakeholders, and elevate the organization&rsquo;s influence across the region.</p><p>
The Director leads the organization&rsquo;s communications function and ensures that messaging across initiatives, programs, and events is clear, consistent, and aligned with GSI&rsquo;s mission and priorities. This position provides leadership and direction to the Marketing &amp; Communications Coordinator and the Events &amp; Engagement Manager, ensuring communication and engagement activities support the organization&rsquo;s broader strategy.</p><p>

U.S. Soccer is seeking a Director, Communications to lead all communications for the Youth and Extended National Teams (YNT and ENT) programs. This role is responsible for developing and executing a long-term communications vision that amplifies the profile of these 25 teams, representing the future and diversity of American soccer, from elite youth players competing in FIFA tournaments to athletes excelling in Beach Soccer, Futsal, Power Soccer, and Cerebral Palsy and Deaf disciplines.</p><p>
As a senior member of the External Communications leadership team, the Director will guide the Federation&rsquo;s narrative around development pathways, inclusion, and excellence across every level of play. JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Advancement Communications provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction for all fundraising and Alumnae/i Relations ("Advancement") communications. The Director oversees editorial strategy and content development across all Advancement marketing channels, including but not limited to websites, email marketing, publications, and social media.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Alumnae/i and Volunteer Engagement, the Director works strategically across the Advancement division and collaborates closely with University Marketing Communications and other campus partners. Qualifications &amp; Experience</b><ul><li>
Accomplished communications professional with 10 + experience in communications and/or public relations with a focus on health equity, corporate social responsibility, ESG, philanthropy or private foundations.
</li><li>University degree required. Degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field preferred.
</li><li>Demonstrated track record of shaping enterprise narratives, driving successful communications strategies focused on health equity, corporate philanthropy or private foundations, and advising senior leaders.
</li><li>Able to inspire trust, clarity, and consensus among internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, environment.</li><li>
Proven ability to think strategically, listen and learn proactively, take initiative, and constantly seek ways to innovate and do things better.</li></ul>

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
