Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles to support our engineering and construction projects. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and architects to produce accurate schematics that meet project specifications.Duties<ul><li>Prepare detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software.</li><li>Develop 2D and 3D models for mechanical design projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Create construction documents, including schematics and layouts for various projects.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback into drafts.</li><li>Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization and presentation of design concepts.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation as needed.</li><li>Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and NavisWorks is essential.</li><li>Experience in drafting for construction or mechanical design projects is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with creating schematics and understanding construction principles is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of 2D animation techniques may be beneficial for certain projects.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
