JOB GOAL: The Billings Public Schools library program mission is to maximize the ability to access information. The Elementary/Middle School Para-Librarian is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the daily operations of the school library, media center, and computer lab in order to support student learning and staff needs. This position includes processing, organizing, and distributing textbooks, library books, and periodicals, as well as maintaining accurate records of library usage, inventory, and activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>

Responsibility

Working Environment 
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 20% sitting, 35% walking, and 45% standing. The job is performed under a generally hazard free environment and in a clean atmosphere.
