 About the Role
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fa&ccedil;ade/Structural Engineer to join our clients expanding team in Doha, Qatar. This role is central to the design, engineering, and delivery of world-class fa&ccedil;ade and external envelope systems on landmark projects. The successful candidate will combine technical engineering expertise with innovative problem-solving to ensure buildable, efficient, and visually striking solutions.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the design, detailing, and structural analysis of fa&ccedil;ade and external envelope systems, including curtain walling, standing seam roofs, bullnose cladding, and bespoke framing solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Produce and review structural reports using software such as IdeaStatica, Autodesk Robot, Tekla, and other industry-approved tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise the design team on minimum member sizes and system optimization for value engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support tender teams by reviewing fa&ccedil;ade packages and advising on system selection and bid strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop new fa&ccedil;ade systems in collaboration with the DSP Doha technical team for ongoing product innovation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with international fa&ccedil;ade performance, sustainability, and safety standards.
 </li>

 Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery.

 Requirements

 Proven experience as a Fa&ccedil;ade Engineer or Structural Engineer specializing in external envelope systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical background in fa&ccedil;ade engineering, with demonstrable experience in curtain walling, roofing, cladding, and structural framing systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in engineering analysis software (IdeaStatica, Autodesk Robot, Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to prepare and present fa&ccedil;ade design calculations and reports to consultants and clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of materials, structural behaviour, and building physics as they apply to fa&ccedil;ade systems.
 </li>

 Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
