DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will provide rate and budget support for Pennsylvania&rsquo;s Physical Health HealthChoices program, ensuring that payments to physical health contractors reflect negotiated agreements, are adequately budgeted, and are processed accurately and on time. The department compensates Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) for delivering medical assistance benefits to enrolled recipients, primarily through capitation payments. This program serves all 67 counties across five geographic zones. You will be responsible for developing rate appendices that outline contracted capitation rates and other payment provisions, as well as assisting with budget requests to project expenditures related to these agreements. Responsibilities involve conducting research, analysis, and fiscal impacts related to Pennsylvania House Resolution 1 (H.R. 1). Additionally, you will develop work plans, have input into methodologies to use, and prioritize assignments independently.
