   Communicate rapidly and accurately with the kitchen about any needs or requests regarding guests; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest&rsquo;s original order; serve items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure excellent food quality

   Anticipates guest needs, ascertains satisfaction, offers suggestions, and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. If it&rsquo;s necessary, take the proper action first which is deemed wise and effectual and report to upper management afterwards;

F&amp;B Supervisor anticipate and service guests needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. </p></div><p></p><div><ul><li><p>Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met through all the guests&rsquo; interactions.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Suggest the selection of food &amp; beverage menu items to guests by offering appealing and precise descriptions of each item&rsquo;s ingredients, taste, and preparation methods; not only take orders as guest did but proactively figure out any possibility that elevates guest dining experience by Value Added Recommendation .
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Communicate rapidly and accurately with the kitchen about any needs or requests regarding guests; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest&rsquo;s original order; serve items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure excellent food quality
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Anticipates guest needs, ascertains satisfaction, offers suggestions, and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. If it&rsquo;s necessary, take the proper action first which is deemed wise and effectual and report to upper management afterwards;
</p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p>Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Coordinates section of tables needs using service staff as a support in means of better serving the guests.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ensures the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed; assists in preparation of mise- en -place
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Directs colleagues and takes responsibility for quality and sequence of service in his/her work area; takes orders for, serves (where applicable, prepares) food and beverages to guests as per hotel standards in a friendly, timely , and efficient manner
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Is thoroughly familiar with wines and menu items and able to compose and recommend suitable menu progression and wine pairing; upsells sensitively
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Provides genuine hospitality and recognition, acts as host/ hostess in the work area. Keeps abreast of events in the hotel and promotes services and product .
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Engages in guest interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner ; anticipates guest needs and ascertains satisfaction; takes ownership of guest concerns and requests and acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when glitches occur
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Is highly sensitive to guest preferences; assists in compiling guest history; offers a special service touch when an opportunity is presented .
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff. Observe performance and encourage when necessary
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Communicate with guest and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice. Listen to understand requests respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Work closely with the assistant/Manager in monthly inventory of beverages, china ware, glasses, silverware, and linen. Assist the assistant and Manager in the training, supervising , counseling .
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Support the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary.<br>
</p></li></ul></div><p></p><div><p>Preferred Qualifications and Skills<br>
</p></div><p></p><div><ul><li><p>A minimum of 2 years of experience in same field.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
</p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p>Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and Micros.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Good personal &amp; professional references.<br>
