Main Responsibilities &ndash; Handyman Job</h2><ul><li>Assess and repair damaged furniture (chairs, tables, cabinets, etc.).</li><li>Replace broken parts, refinish surfaces, polish, and restore the structural integrity of furniture.</li><li>Pack and crate furniture and fragile items for safe domestic/international shipping.</li><li>Follow IATA and airline regulations for cargo packaging.</li><li>Use appropriate materials (plywood, foam, bubble wrap, etc.) to ensure damage-free transit.</li><li>Perform repairs of Furniture, Sofa.</li><li>Install and assemble furniture.</li><li>Certification in carpentry or a relevant field.</li><li>Experience in the logistics/shipping industry (packing fragile items).</li></ul></div>

Job Description

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certifications in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or related fields is a plus.</li><li>
Experience: Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role. Experience in general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work is essential.</li><li>
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of various maintenance techniques and systems (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).</li><li>
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and accurately, paying close attention to detail.</li><li>
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions.</li><li>
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions.</li><li>
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety practices and procedures when working with tools, equipment, and materials.</li><li>
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of maintenance work.</li><li>

Carpentry &amp; Construction Work: Assist with carpentry tasks such as repairing or installing doors, cabinets, furniture, and other wood-based structures.</li><li>
Plumbing &amp; Electrical: Carry out basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing faucets, repairing electrical outlets, and addressing other minor issues.</li><li>
Equipment &amp; Appliance Repairs: Repair or replace faulty equipment or appliances such as air conditioning units, refrigerators, and washing machines.</li><li>
Tool &amp; Equipment Maintenance: Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are in good working order. Use, maintain, and store all tools safely.</li><li>
Safety &amp; Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure all maintenance work complies with local legal requirements, health and safety regulations, and company policies.</li><li>
Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to complete various tasks and respond to emergency maintenance requests.</li><li>
Time Management: Efficiently manage time to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner with minimal disruption to guests and staff.</li><li>
Customer Service: Provide excellent service to guests and staff, responding promptly to requests for maintenance or repairs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.</li><li>
