What You'll Do</h2>

Responsibilities include maintaining all equipment, systems, and building components, including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile, and other equipment. Additional responsibilities to include: building a safe and secure environment for all employees and guests. Providing safety education, enforcing company standards, and promoting the highest level of profit protection.

<li>Install and replaces lighting fixtures and bulbs.</li>

<li>Fabricate and repairs furniture and fixtures.</li>

<li>Respond to all customer requests in a timely and personable manner.</li>
<li>Patrol all areas of the property, and lock/unlock property entrances as required.</li>

<li>Conduct daily physical hazard inspections, and monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress (Area of Refuge) alarms, and fire life safety systems.</li>
<li>Respond to accidents and contact EMS or coordinate first aid/CPR as required.</li>
<li>Assist guests and employees during emergency situations.</li>
<li>Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks or other incidents.</li>

<li>Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.</li>

Job Overview
Carry a portable radio, staying in constant communication with the central base station, respond to all engineering service calls, giving priority to guest requests, and maintain hotel equipment in an efficient, safe, accident-free manner.
