GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</b><p><br>
The Office of State Lands and Investments, Wyoming State Forestry Division, seeks a Regional Fire Manager in Douglas, Wyoming. Bring your knowledge, skills, and career with you to become a part of the Wyoming State Forestry Division.</p><p>
A Regional Fire Manager (RFM) is responsible for managing wildland fire incidents on state lands. They work closely with local, state, and federal fire and emergency management agencies, as well as other stakeholders, to develop and implement fire management plans and strategies. This may include tasks such as conducting risk assessments, preparing fire management plans, and overseeing the implementation of fire management activities. The Regional Fire Manager may be responsible for supervising incident management teams and coordinating resources. They are also responsible for overseeing the training and development of fire management personnel, and for maintaining accurate records and reporting data to government agencies and other regulatory bodies.</p><p><b><i>

Seven years&rsquo; experience as a full-time paid Firefighter/EMT in a full-service fire department including four years of experience at the Company Officer level. Two of those four years at the Company Officer level may be in an acting-in-capacity role.<br>
