TurboTax will provide a straightforward playbook, essential tools, and dedicated support to facilitate your success. </p><br><p> This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States on a seasonal basis. </p><br><p> What You'll Do: </p><ul><li> Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. </li><li> Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a "community ambassador" and "business owner" mindset to cultivate a robust customer base for TurboTax. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, actively engaging with new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach. Review the applied WHT rates by the AP team, and reconcile against the relevant GL.</li><li>
Responsible for WHT return preparation, upload to tax portal and coordinate with the AP team for WHT payment.</li></ul><ul><li>
Prepare on a quarterly base the WHT certificate for vendors and customer&rsquo;s rebates.
</li><li>Calculate the stamp tax on a monthly base, secure the payment and deliver the stamp tax return to the tax authority.</li><li>
Support in preparing the VAT return, reconcile the VAT base against the revenues.</li><li>
Prepare monthly BS reconciliation for tax accounts to monitor tax balances and payments.</li><li>
Follow up any pending items with the tax authority.</li>
