Key Responsibilities and Duties for Instrument Fitter<ul>
<li>Instrument Installation:
 
Accurately mount and install field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters, and analyzers) on process lines, equipment, or control panels as per technical drawings and project specifications.
</li><li>Tubing &amp; Pipework:
 
Fabricate, route, and install impulse and hydraulic tubing/piping for instrumentation. Execute swaging, threading, and connections for copper, stainless steel, and pneumatic lines ensuring integrity and compliance.
</li><li>Instrument Cabling &amp; Wiring:
 
Properly lay, terminate, and connect instrument signal and power cables in junction boxes, marshalling panels, and control cabinets with reference to wiring schedules and loop diagrams.
</li><li>Instrument Calibration &amp; Testing:
 
Assist in field calibration, loop checking, and functional testing of various process instruments in accordance with standards and quality procedures.

Work with engineers during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases. Support troubleshooting and remediation of instrument-related issues during site activities.

<div>The senior instrument fitter is responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, inspecting, and calibrating instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, force, and chemical composition, using precision instruments and hand tools. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
