Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><p><b>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</b></p>

<li>Proven experience as a hardscape foreman, lead installer, or similar field leadership role in the landscape industry.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of hardscape construction practices, materials, and equipment.</li>
<li>Prior experience leading and managing installation crews.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and field management skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in reading blueprints and executing plans to spec.</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to travel to job sites.</li></ul><br>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to walk, stand, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods.</li>
<li>Capable of lifting and carrying materials or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.</li>
<li>Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching while performing hardscape work.</li>
<li>Strong hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity to operate tools and machinery.</li>
<li>Visual acuity to assess layout accuracy, stone cuts, and finished detail.</li>
<li>Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.</li>
<li>Physical stamina for long workdays during peak installation seasons.</li>

Seasonal Grounds Crew Member (Game Day)</b></div><div>
The Delmarva Shorebirds, Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are seeking an Season Grounds Crew Members for the upcoming 2026 season. The qualified candidates will work under the Head Groundskeeper and Assistant Head Groundskeeper in performing maintenance required to provide a safe, playable, and aesthetically pleasing minor league baseball field. <b>This is a hourly game day seasonal position.</b></div><div><b>
Start date: March 2026</b></div><div><br>
<b><i>
Job Responsibilities:</i></b></div><ul><li>
General game day maintenance</li><li>
Clay repair mound, home plate, and bullpen areas</li><li>
Infield skin / warning track preparation</li><li>
Batting practice setup and breakdown</li><li>
Edging, Weeding, etc.</li><li>
Assist with fertilizer applications</li><li>
Irrigation repairs</li><li>
Assist with aeration, topdressing, and sod work</li><li>
Pulling main field tarp onto the field as well as placing tarps on bullpens, game mound and home plate</li></ul><div></div><div><b><i><br>
Experience and Education:
</i></b><br>
Experience in landscaping, turf field maintenance or golf course maintenance is preferred but we are willing to train individuals that are hard working, have a desire to learn and take initiative.</div><div><br>
<b><i>
Physical Requirements:</i></b></div><div>
 Ability to lift 50lbs, ability to work long hours (including holidays and weekends), and cope with all types of weather conditions.</div><div><br>
<b><i>
Compensation:</i></b><br>
<b><i>$15.00 Per Hour</i></b></div><div><br>

 Looking for an individual who pays attention to the finest detail to enhance the &ldquo;look&rdquo; of a professional facility and takes pride in the duties performed that provide a safe and playable field for its athletes.
