 A day in the life
 
 
 As a SLP Expert, you will join a team of S&amp;LP professionals providing security as a service to business customers across multiple business units within a dedicated geographical area. You perform regular physical security audits and investigate policy violations, security-related incidents, and loss events. During your investigations, you will collect information by monitoring systems and tools, analyzing data reports, and conducting interviews. Your findings contribute to identifying vulnerabilities in various processes to identify and drive mitigating measures. You play a key role in maintaining the physical integrity of our sites by auditing and monitoring the health status of our systems and, jointly with subject matter experts and external suppliers, maintain their functionality. Furthermore, you identify and act upon initiatives improving our physical security infrastructure and contribute directly to the budgetary planning for our external suppliers. You interact on a daily basis with our external security service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality security services and a smooth customer experience. Position Purpose: The District Asset Protection Manager (DAPM) is responsible for teaching, coaching, and training associates to ensure the effective execution of core Asset Protection initiatives. They are responsible for driving core programs and strategies relating to theft and fraud mitigation, operational excellence, safety, and environmental compliance in The Home Depot stores without adding complexity or tasking to the stores' operation. They must be able to multi-task across stores and gain the partnership of the District Manager, Store Manager, Store Leadership Team, APS and other store associates to achieve the goals and business objectives of the AP and Store Operations leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: 25% - Driving Execution - Drive execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup programs. Review Front End Accuracy standards to include Accuracy/Theft and Fraud initiatives and G.E.T initiatives. Ensure stores are driving a safety culture by promoting safety initiatives. To ensure safe environment for customers and associates. 50% - Internal and External Theft and Fraud - Perform timely entry of internal cases into the case management system in accordance with AP Policy; to include activity cans, review alerts, and physical security. Review available resources to identify key theft trends by class and SKU for internal and external theft and create solutions. Conduct timely interviews for internal theft cases identified by MAPM or Central Investigations Team (CIT). Timely review, approve, or reject external cases submitted by the Asset Protection Specialists. Build partnerships with local law enforcement in order to strengthen THD's brand. Daily, weekly and monthly review of business practices, exception base reporting, theft portal and AP Performance Hub. Review and analyze shrink performance within the district and by store location. Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

</li><li>Co-ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and Maintenance functions to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Engineering execution and integrity.

</li><li>Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.
</li><li>Provide assistance and support to Construction, Pre- commissioning and Commissioning phases of the works.
