FNA Group has a Maintenance Technician III position available in our Mesquite, TX facility. The Maintenance Technician III performs equipment diagnostics and repairs, preventative maintenance, and new equipment installations including utilities as well as equipment set up, as needed, to support the manufacturing of consumer and industrial pressure washers, hot water pressure washers, trailers, generators and water pumps. 
Typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-3:30pm. This provides 16 hours of overtime each week. 
A typical day for a Maintenance Technician III may include any of the following, and no two days are the same.<ul><li>
Ensure equipment uptime metrics are met for manufacturing and facilities equipment</li><li>
Diagnose and repair:<ul><li>
Pneumatic and hydraulic seals, hoses, cylinders, solenoid actuated valves and hydraulic pumps</li><li>
Motors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings and transfer plates</li><li>
Simple circuits, 3-phase power systems, motor controls, AC/DC Drives, PLC's and servo drive systems</li><li>
PLC and electrical sensors and circuits.</li><li>
Rebuilding / replacement of equipment wearable parts.</li></ul></li><li>
Use a digital multi-meter to identify faulty wiring, blown fuses, faulty switches, terminal ends, circuit boards, breakers and photoelectric controls</li><li>
Provide electrical services: run conduit, install / disconnect junction boxes, fuse boxes, and replace faulty breakers</li><li>
Safely operate shop tools, such as cutoff saw, drill press, bench grinder, hydraulic press, vertical band saw, arc welder, acetylene torch, and various other hand tools</li><li>
Work with engineering on line improvements, tooling improvements, fixturing, ergonomics, etc.</li><li>
Assist in training of lower level maintenance personnel to improve knowledge and strengthen team.</li><li>
Assist Maintenance Manager with maintenance project management.</li><li>
Assist in other areas of operation, as needed, to provide support during absences or shortages of staff</li></ul> 
To be successful as an FNA Maintenance Technician III, you will need to bring a few items with you. These items include:<ul><li>
Associates degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering Technology; High school diploma with related work experience will also be considered</li><li>
Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman license preferred, but not required</li><li>

 The City of South Lake Tahoe is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician III for a full time, permanent position supporting safe and efficient operations at the South Lake Tahoe Airport year round. This position requires strong knowledge of airport lighting maintenance and repair, including inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing runway, taxiway, approach, and obstruction lighting systems in compliance with FAA standards. The ideal candidate will be an experienced operator of large snow removal equipment, capable of safely and efficiently using plows, blowers, sweepers, loaders, and sanders to keep runways, taxiways, and aprons clear during winter conditions. A thorough understanding of airport and airfield safety protocols is essential, with strict adherence to movement area safety, proper vehicle and aircraft separation, and proactive hazard identification. Help keep our school-bus fleet safe, reliable, and route-ready. As a Tech 3 you&rsquo;ll focus on preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) and light-duty repairs that support uptime, safety, and on-time performance.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide support to the Maintenance Department and Technicians.</li><li>
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and light-duty repairs.</li><li>
Arrange for and obtain appropriate inspections/approvals of major repairs before vehicle release.</li><li>
Maintain a safe, clean, productive, and efficient work area in compliance with all Federal, State/Provincial, and local guidelines.</li><li>
Identify and report any additional maintenance/repairs found during assigned work, including items requiring a higher qualification level.</li><li>
Record time spent, parts used, and all repairs/maintenance in the appropriate system.</li><li>
Advise the Lead Technician or Supervisor of unsafe conditions/practices and/or vehicle abuse.</li><li>
Exhibit the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; share concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with a supervisor/manager.</li><li>

Qualifications 
Qualifications<ul><li>
High school diploma/equivalent education and/or training and experience.</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year truck or automotive repair experience.<ul><li>
Must be verifiable via prior employer or acceptable documentation (e.g., pay stubs, W-2, or equivalent).</li></ul></li><li>
Minimum recommended hand tools for a Class III Mechanic.</li><li>
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.</li><li>
Preferably prior fleet experience; familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems.</li><li>
Valid applicable state license (CDL preferred). The Company has a free training program for Technicians, and you will be expected to obtain a valid CDL.</li><li>
Preferred: ASE Certifications or willingness to pursue certification.</li></ul>
