The Supervisor of Environmental Services will partner with the department manager/director to support daily operations of all aspects of the environmental services team. Responsibilities include daily operations, team member oversight, regulatory compliance and assignments from the department director/manager. The Supervisor of Environmental Services will assist team members in daily cleaning assignments and hands-on assistance as needed. Qualified candidates will have high customer services skills and focus on team engagement.</div>
What We're Looking For:<div></div><ul><li><b><br>
Education</b>: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.</li><li><b>
Experience</b>: Two years of environmental services experience or related experience preferred, preferred. One year of leadership experience, preferred.</li><li><b>
Additional Skills (required):
</b><ul><li>Knowledge and practice of hospital cleaning and disinfection practices.</li><li>
Operational knowledge of labor management.
</li><li>Ability to monitor the successful completion of daily, periodic and terminal cleaning.
</li><li>Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
</li><li>Basic office skills, including ability to use Microsoft Office.
</li><li>Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

The EVS Assistant Manager is responsible for managing and supervising environmental services staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.</p><ul><li>
Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations of the environmental services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory of supplies and equipment.</li><li>
Conduct training sessions for staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control measures.</li><li>
Effectively communicate with staff, residents, and facility management regarding operational needs and feedback.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>
Perform quality inspections of cleaning tasks and provide constructive feedback to team members.</li><li>
Represent HCSG positively through courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, clients, residents, and guests.</li><li>
