Job Description</h2>
Allied Universal&reg; is hiring an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is a central leader in ensuring successful delivery of security services across assigned client sites. This role oversees frontline hiring, staffing, scheduling, training, and operational compliance while serving as a critical support and escalation point for employees and clients. The Operations Manager will champion high‑quality service, workforce stability, and operational consistency by proactively addressing performance concerns, maintaining contractual staffing levels, and building strong client relationships Why Join Allied Universal? 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selection and Placement<ul><li>
Manage the selection and placement process for new security professionals, including first-line supervisors; design and implement career development and performance improvement plans; evaluate low-performing employees for replacement, upgrade or transfer</li>
<li>Make initial job offers (for new employees) and job transfers (for existing employees) using company forms and procedures, offering rates, schedules and benefits in alignment with post contract requirements; maintain and publish weekly Open Post List and actively manage job openings within division/branch</li></ul>
Schedule and Workforce Management<ul><li>
Create, modify and manage post schedules in WinTeam to ensure adequate coverage at all times; ensure schedules are properly maintained in WinTeam and are updated regularly</li>
<li>Ensure all positions are staffed according to contract requirements and effectively manage branch overtime through proper scheduling and staffing; maintain a qualified, sufficient pool of flex personnel for backfill of vacant positions as needed</li>
<li>Maintain regular proactive contact with Security Professionals to ensure all staff is being effectively utilized, properly trained, and ready for placement as needed. Review &ldquo;No Hours Report&quot; with branch Human Resource staff on a weekly basis, and disposition employees who are on &ldquo;active&quot; status with no hours, in accordance with company policies, ensuring no employees remain on &ldquo;no hours&quot; status beyond 3 weeks</li></ul>
Payroll Management<ul><li>
Receive weekly timesheets and update WinTeam schedules as necessary (verify such for self-scheduling accounts); run weekly payroll according to company procedures. Ensure records are properly maintained and updated to reduce payroll errors; resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner, and communicate status of such to affected employees, to minimize financial exposure for Company</li>
<li>Follow all company policies regarding timekeeping procedures, meal and rest period breaks (where applicable), ensuring signatures and acknowledgements are properly documented (where applicable), and conducting weekly audits of timekeeping records to ensure accuracy</li>
<li>Process requests for final paychecks, anniversary bonuses and other pay related issues, and execute the distribution of such pay; act as a Company representative in such matters as unemployment hearings, workers' compensation hearings/depositions, union meetings (where applicable), state agency activities, depositions, and other related liability matters</li></ul>
Employee Relations<ul><li>
Conduct disciplinary and counseling sessions with Security Professionals as needed in a proactive and professional manner. Ensure all such issues are documented according to company standards, and that all issues receive proper follow up for resolution</li>
<li>Initiate termination procedures as needed for voluntary and involuntary separations; execute termination meetings as necessary and complete all follow up documentation according to company standards</li>
<li>Maintain high employee morale and low employee turnover through effective and proactive communications and timely problem resolution; ensure all hiring, counseling, disciplinary and termination procedures are executed in a consistent manner</li>
<li>Ensure a smooth running operation by enforcing post specific policies and procedures through proper communication and training; may utilize field training staff to assist in executing post-specific training</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Current driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment</li>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce environment, preferably in the protective service industry</li>
<li>Work experience in successfully building and developing teams</li>
<li>Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving desired results</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a profitable book of business by cross-collaborating and utilizing results-oriented problem-solving skills to meet both client and employee growth and satisfaction</li>
<li>Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and (BI) Business Intelligence tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations</li>
<li>Dynamic networking skills displaying a commitment to safety and trust by participating in local community, client and industry events</li>
<li>Basic understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and financial reporting; ability to interpret simple financial data and use it to support decision-making</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
<ul><li>College degree in criminal justice, business administration, or a related field</li>
<li>Experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation</li>
<li>Law enforcement, military and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience</li>
<li>American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification</li>
<li>Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience</li>
<li>Aptitude with security systems; CCTV, Access Control, and badge administration</li>
<li>Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)</li></ul>

 Oversee affiliate Security and Market Safety domain including Manufacturing and Leaf security operations, delivery of Security and Market Safety services / products within the assigned local portfolio. Act as the key Security and Market Safety SME for Manufacturing &amp; Leaf and local leadership team across various business units.
 
 
 Coordinate, implement, and follow up on Security and Market Safety programs, risk management, governance, policies, and procedures to identify and address local threats, mitigating risks to people, assets, and reputation.
 
 
 Minimize Security and Market Safety losses and property damage by ensuring risk mitigation plans and emergency response procedures are implemented, trained, tested, and maintained. Ensure compliance with regional and local legislation, PMI Principles &amp; Practices, standards, and guidelines.

 Leadership &amp; Management
 
 
 Manage security operations at Manufacturing and Leaf sites in collaboration with Security and Market Safety organization and in alignment with corporate Security and Market Safety operational strategy, vision, and commitments. Manage daily Security and Market Safety operations, individual performance, and timelines; cascade corporate Security and Market Safety objectives, set personal objectives/goals, and advance career paths and succession plans.
 
 
 Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews, maintaining regular touchpoints with business stakeholders. Ensure the necessary skills, capabilities, and up-to-date training needs to excel. Develop skills and capacity through coaching, mentoring, and guidance from line manager.
 
 
 Build relationships and trusted partnerships with peers, Security and Market Safety teams, leadership, stakeholders, and local industry networks. Provide coverage during team members' absences and be prepared to cover for the Senior Security and Market Safety Manager or others when needed.
 
 
 Business Alignment &amp; Visibility

Participate in regular local performance reviews to ensure effective delivery and execution by third-party providers.
 
 
 Capable of supporting and being part of a team to manage complex Security and Market Safety projects from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) through to commissioning. Able to administer, oversee, and deliver Security and Market Safety integration projects involving assets, technologies, personnel, vendors, and operations at the affiliate or small cluster level.

Shareholder &amp; Financial: - Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank. - Implements KPI&rsquo;s and best practices for Security Technologies Services - Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent. - Support to maintain KPI&rsquo;s and best practices for AVP &ndash; Cyber Security Technologies &amp; Services
B. Customer (Internal &amp; External): - Provide 1st level support to key technical security solutions in line with business strategies and objectives of the group - Support operational process, procedures and guidelines, aligned to good practise for service management, problem and incident management, change management and configuration management. - Support end users with installation and troubleshooting of GIS provided and supported security products on their devices. - Review of IT and business requests for change requests to security controls (for example: firewall change reviews) - To assist customers in all their queries on Bank&rsquo;s product and seek solution to their requests. - Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. - Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group&rsquo;s objectives. - Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required.
C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - Support the design and implementation of the QNB's information security program. - Develop, implement and administer technical security standards, as well as a suite of security services and tools to address and mitigate security risk. - Examine impacts of new technologies on the QNB's overall information security profile. - Establish processes to review implementation of new technologies to ensure security compliance. - Responsible to ensuring that any audit issues or identified regulatory gaps are addressed timely.
D. Learning &amp; Knowledge: - Possess an understanding of business processes and controls in all related operational areas. - Must have an expert understanding of information security issues, best practices, and a working knowledge of IT systems. - Create education and training program within the team and advise operating units at all levels on security issues, best practices, and vulnerabilities. - Proactively identify areas for professional development of self and undertake development activities. - Seek out opportunities to remain current with all developments in professional field. - Ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts within the team members.
