Experienced, competent Quality Control Inspectors must be highly skilled and have the ability to work with great concentration and precision. Must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. Having a keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential. The Inspector Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and readiness of greige fabric prior to downstream manufacturing and customer delivery. The associate also assists with materials handling, housekeeping, and inspection-area support to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with Milliken standards.</p><p><br>

<li>Notify production supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting the problems. Assist production personnel in solving minor problems and drawing interpretation as needed</li>
<li>Perform inspections using tools, equipment, and instruments. Compare results to specifications and complete the necessary documentation</li>
<li>Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure process and product conformance to specifications and make or direct necessary adjustments</li>
<li>Job shadow more senior inspectors to learn and enhance inspection and transformer knowledge</li>
<li>Participate in any training provided to further enhance inspection and transformer knowledge</li>
<li>Practice 6S and adhere to all safety rules, guidelines and safe working practices</li>
<li>Prepare and execute parts or transformer for inspection and prepare a &ldquo;safe&rdquo; environment for inspection</li>
<li>Using available inspection/test procedures and data to set up, inspection/test and assist in the evaluation of the electrical and mechanical performance of each transformer unit</li>
<li>Support and make recommendations to improve Hyosung HICO's policies and procedures</li>
<li>Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Quality Department</li>
<li>Know Hyosung HICO&rsquo;s Quality and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work</li>
