 The purpose of the role of Math Teacher is to promote a love for students of all abilities at the school. They must share the responsibility for planning, teaching and assessments of the subject that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential as well as raise the standards of student attainment and achievement. They must take responsibility for promoting high standards of literacy and articulacy as well as set high expectations and standards which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils. The Math Teacher will be a suitably qualified educator with a proven capacity to lead and effectively deliver teaching and learning to a very high standard. They will be accountable for ensuring that children are inspired, motivated and equipped to make as much progress with their learning as possible and as independently as possible. The incumbent will work closely with colleagues and support the work of the school. The Math Teacher will promote and model good relationships with students, colleagues and parents. They will require initiative, be empathetic and proactive, with a personable and positive character. The teacher is expected to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and school standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that follow the school curriculum and learning objectives.</li><li>Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning.</li><li>Assess and monitor student progress using various assessment tools.</li><li>Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.</li><li>Develop and implement classroom management strategies to ensure effective learning.</li><li>Prepare teaching materials, resources, and assignments.</li><li>Support students&rsquo; social, emotional, and academic development.</li><li>Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure adherence to school policies, code of conduct, and safety procedures.</li><li>Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Section or school administration.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
