Job Description: Arabic Teacher (British Curriculum School – Qatar)Position Summary
The Arabic Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction to students in line with the Ministry of Education & Higher Education (MOEHE) requirements and the standards of the British Curriculum. The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet students’ learning needs while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons for Arabic Language (First Language or Second Language) as per MOEHE guidelines.
- Ensure lessons align with the school’s British curriculum framework and Arabic curriculum standards.
- Use effective teaching strategies to support differentiated learning and meet the needs of all students.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Arabic.
- Incorporate modern teaching methods, educational technology, and active learning strategies.
2. Assessment & Reporting
- Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments in line with school and MOEHE policies.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and provide regular feedback.
- Prepare student reports and participate in parent–teacher meetings.
3. Classroom Management
- Create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
- Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies and pastoral guidelines.
- Encourage participation, motivation, and student engagement.
4. Curriculum Contribution
- Participate in the planning and improvement of the Arabic curriculum.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.
5. Professional Responsibilities
- Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues, department heads, and school leadership.
- Uphold school values, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
