Qualifications:

A High School diploma or GED is required. Knowledge of Financial Institution federal regulations. Ability in math, 10 key calculator, and accurate cash handling. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records. Good knowledge of all Credit Union services. Ability to stand while working. 


Performance Standard:

Ability to accurately process transactions, balance cash daily with minimal over/short situations. Good interpersonal relations and a cooperative and positive attitude towards members and staff. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 
Provide members the highest level of service available in an efficient and courteous manner. Process monetary transactions within assigned limits, maintain accurate records and balance each day’s transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Proactively engage with members to identify products and services designed to assist them in achieving their financial goals. Answer questions, and direct members to appropriate department for specialized services.
 
TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS: 
1. Processes and audits financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.

<li>Technical: Basic knowledge in the following systems/applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), eFunds, Bridger, Card @ Once, EnAct (referrals, uncovering opportunities and reviewing balances), ECM, Springboard, DSUI / TNav, Wire Exchange, SBO, HRIS (ADP), Concur, Relationship Manager.</li>
<li>Proficient adding profiles and updating tasks, activities and notes in EnAct. Proficient in Maestro and LPQ.</li>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
1. Prolonged standing throughout the workday. A teller stool is provided as may be needed.

Position Summary:
The Member Service Representative (MSR)/Teller will report to the Teller Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, or another designee. They will work with members to meet financial service needs through processing transactions and suggesting new products or services. The MSR/Teller is responsible for delivering the highest-level customer service, accurate and efficient processing of member transactions, promoting products and services, resolving member account issues, making modifications to accounts, adding account services, opening new accounts, and performing those functions according to the policies and guidelines of the credit union in a friendly, helpful manner.
WHAT You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul><li>Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
</li><li>Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent member service.
</li><li>Process share deposit payments, loan payments, manual payrolls, and account transfers.
</li><li>Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
