 This role reports directly to the Operations Director and is part of the ALEC Data Centre Solutions core delivery team. The project delivery function oversees execution, programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and quality control across all phases of construction.  Amideast/Egypt offers educational development programs and operates across Egypt with offices in Cairo and Alexandria. In 2016 Amideast leased and then acquired the current location at 3 Pharanaa street in 2020. The location is a heritage site that dates to the early 20th century when the original structure was built circa 1910. Amideast&rsquo;s decision to acquire the property has revived the property&rsquo; as an educational and cultural hub focused on the exchange and collaboration between the US and Egypt.
 
 
 The position of the Facility Management Engineer (FME) is critical to maintaining the property and ensuring its upkeep for the continued provision of Amideast services in Alexandria. The FME will apply engineering principles and techniques to maintain and optimize the facility. S/he work includes ensuring proper installations, renovations, and maintenance of the facility, maintain the upkeep of the property and the HVAC system with minimal operational disruption, lead facility improvement projects, and develop a robust facility maintenance plan in accordance with organizational objectives.
