WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will be focused on the build out and expansion of our global network including greenfield deployments for new office builds. You'll work closely with the Network Engineering team, Project Managers and with various vendors and partners (including hardware vendors, logistics, and network providers, and ISPs) to setup, maintain and improve our global infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>You will assist in the design, deployment and operations of new site builds, with both logically segmented and air-gapped networks.</li>
<li>Provisioning of hardware, software, and network configurations.</li>
<li>Work closely with building contractors and ISP's to ensure IT MDF's, Server rooms and ISP circuits are delivered on time.</li>
<li>Creating documentation such as network &quot;as builds&quot; and topologies.</li>
<li>Aggressively seek opportunities to introduce cutting-edge technology and automation solutions that are effective, efficient and scalable in order to improve our ability to deploy and maintain our global infrastructure</li>
<li>Planning and implementing network installations, including in the areas of facility power / cooling, security/access, rack layout and cable management.</li>
<li>Providing technical guidance during deployment activities.</li>
<li>Undertake Wifi surveys and planning accordingly for Wifi design / deployment across multiple floors.</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining documentation, plans, SOP's, MOP's etc</li>
<li>Collaborating with internal teams (infrastructure engineering, network engineering) for day to day activities</li>
</ul>
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
<ul>
<li>This is a highly visible position that requires deep technical understanding of office infrastructure, physical and logical networking and basic experience with data analysis and project management.</li>
<li>To be successful in this position, you should have excellent technical skills, communication skills, and be able to navigate a range of challenges and constraints (e.g. schedule adherence, time zones, and cultures)</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience in a Network Engineering role focusing on new site designs and buildouts.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years experience in a Network operations role and highly familiar with Cisco catalyst centre, catalyst routing &amp; switching, Wifi design, deployment and operational tuning.</li>
<li>Experience solving problems through automation</li>
<li>Ability to write scripts for internal tools</li>
<li>Direct experience executing infrastructure projects with many moving parts</li>
<li>Professional level network certification, minimum CCNP level or higher</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS and wireless</li>

The Role
We&rsquo;re hiring for an early Forward Deployed Engineer to help Tempo&rsquo;s partners move money on-chain. You&rsquo;ll work directly with design partners to diagnose, design, build, and deliver production-ready applications and integrations.
