The ideal candidate is a skilled doctor focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and is a positive impact to the employee culture! Provide ortho via Invisalign with a predictable system as part of training. Vivera retainers are considered standard at Dentologie (the retainer offered for the supreme quality).</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.</li><li>
Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.<ul><li>
Correct bite issues and overcrowding.</li><li>
Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.</li><li>
Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics.</li><li>
Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, to examine and treat teeth.</li></ul></li><li>
Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them.</li><li>
Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients.</li><li>
Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.</li><li>
Routine follow-up with patients whom you&rsquo;ve provided treatment via phone or email.</li><li>
Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Active IL state dental license (and malpractice insurance).</li><li>
Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of: dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills.</li><li>
Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.</li><li>
Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.</li><li>
Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.</li><li>
Ability to adapt to Dentologie&rsquo;s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.</li></ul>
