JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of the Parts Delivery Driver is to deliver and pick up parts as needed. Shipping and receiving all freight material arriving or leaving the company and maintaining the warehouse.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Deliver parts to shops and customers as needed</li>
<li>Have trucks serviced and washed as needed</li>
<li>Drive company vehicles in a safe manner, obey all traffic laws, and report any motor vehicle violations to supervisor by the end of the shift</li>
<li>Unpack and ship material as specified on authorized shipping documents, i.e., invoices, return merchandise requests, etc.</li>
<li>Maintain warehouse to include stocking parts, and general housekeeping in parts and service as needed</li>
<li>Clean and deliver cores to the Parts Department ensuring they are appropriately tagged and boxed.</li>
<li>Complete all required job-related training.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Experience in shipping, such as, knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills, etc. Packaging skills, such as, knowledge of how materials should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage. Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program. Valid Driver's License and good driving record. Excellent organization and communication skills. High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions and information
 
WORKING CONDITIONS: 
This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, employee will work at a desk in a warehouse setting doing paperwork, telephoning and filing. For part of the shift, employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and/or additional assistance will be required. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.

WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment across our dealership, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent service. You will:
➤ Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with the Parts Manager, inventory control, parts counter, and shipping/receiving teams.
➤ Verify invoices match parts and check payments before leaving for deliveries.
➤ Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and pickups; obtain signatures for each delivery.
➤ Unload trucks each night and turn in all paperwork, cores, and undelivered parts.
➤ Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, checking oil, keeping the truck clean, and ensuring inspections are up to date.
➤ Complete weekly vehicle checklists and consult the branch safety council on any concerns.
➤ Ensure vehicle is equipped with all required safety and operational items (fire extinguisher, safety triangles, first aid kit, GPS, EZ Pass, insurance, registration, fuel card).
➤ Report major truck repairs and maintenance needs to the Parts Manager.
➤ Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department and your work vehicle.
➤ Adhere to all health and safety policies, reinforcing a safe working environment. 
WHAT YOU BRING<ul><li>Education &amp; Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1&ndash;3 months of related experience (or equivalent combination).</li><li>Driving &amp; Safety: Valid driver&rsquo;s license required, must meet company insurability standards, and be able to drive across county and state lines.</li><li>Communication Skills: Able to read instructions and manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.</li><li>Certifications: ASE certification or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certification preferred.</li><li>Physical Requirements: Regularly stand and walk; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.</li></ul>
