Job Purpose
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision, coordination, and operational readiness of the company’s fleet, including concrete mixer trucks, transit mixers, water tankers, trailers, pickup vehicles, and other company vehicles. The role ensures that vehicles are available, safe, properly maintained, legally compliant, and efficiently utilized to support Ready-Mix plant and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Daily Fleet Operations
- Supervise the daily operation and movement of all company vehicles.
- Ensure sufficient vehicles are available for daily Ready-Mix deliveries.
- Coordinate with Batching Plant, Dispatch, Sales, and Operations teams for vehicle requirements.
- Allocate vehicles and drivers according to delivery schedules.
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely arrival at customer/project sites.
- Handle vehicle breakdowns, delays, and operational issues.
- Maintain daily fleet movement and utilization records.
2. Ready-Mix Mixer Truck Management
- Monitor the availability and operational condition of concrete mixer trucks.
- Ensure mixer drums are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Monitor drum rotation and ensure concrete is delivered within the required timeframe.
- Ensure vehicles return to the plant after delivery as per operational requirements.
- Coordinate with plant and maintenance teams regarding mixer truck issues.
3. Driver Supervision
- Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Prepare and monitor driver duty schedules and vehicle allocation.
- Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and daily reporting.
- Ensure drivers follow safe driving practices and company instructions.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks/briefings in coordination with HSE.
- Address driver complaints, operational issues, and disciplinary matters.
- Report repeated violations to management/HR.
4. Vehicle Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the Maintenance Department.
- Monitor daily vehicle inspections and identify defects.
- Ensure defective vehicles are reported and removed from operation when necessary.
- Follow up on vehicle breakdowns and repair status.
- Maintain records of servicing, repairs, tyres, batteries and other major maintenance activities.
- Ensure vehicles are returned to service only after required repairs are completed.
5. Fleet Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all vehicles have valid registration, insurance, permits and required approvals.
- Coordinate with the PRO/Administration team for vehicle registration and permit renewals.
- Ensure daily vehicle safety checks are completed.
- Monitor compliance with UAE traffic and company safety requirements.
- Report accidents, damages, violations and major incidents immediately.
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with required safety equipment.
6. Fuel & Vehicle Monitoring
- Monitor daily fuel consumption and investigate unusual usage.
- Maintain fuel records for each vehicle.
- Monitor mileage and vehicle utilization.
- Identify excessive fuel consumption, unnecessary idling, or misuse.
- Monitor tyre condition and replacement requirements.
7. GPS & Vehicle Tracking
- Monitor GPS/vehicle tracking systems where available.
- Review vehicle movement, routes, excessive speeding, unauthorized use and unnecessary stops.
- Report repeated violations to management.
- Coordinate with HSE/HR regarding serious driver violations.
8. Vehicle Cleanliness & Condition
- Ensure company vehicles are kept clean, safe and presentable.
- Ensure mixer trucks are properly washed and maintained after operations.
- Monitor cleanliness of cabins, exterior body and equipment.
- Report damage or misuse of company vehicles.
9. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of:
- Vehicle allocation
- Daily vehicle movement
- Driver attendance
- Vehicle inspections
- Breakdowns and repairs
- Preventive maintenance
- Fuel consumption
- Tyre replacement
- Accidents and damages
- Traffic violations
- Vehicle registration and insurance
- Vehicle utilization
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly fleet reports for management.
Key Coordination
The Fleet Supervisor will coordinate closely with:

- HR Department
- PRO / Administration
- Sales/Customer Service
- Drivers
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet/transport supervision in the UAE.
- Ready-Mix Concrete experience is highly preferred.
- Experience managing transit mixers/concrete mixer trucks is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations and vehicle maintenance coordination.
- Knowledge of UAE traffic and vehicle compliance requirements.
- Experience supervising drivers and managing vehicle schedules.
- Good knowledge of GPS/fleet tracking systems.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have STRONG hands-on UAE fleet supervision experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry, with strong knowledge of transit mixer operations, driver management, dispatch coordination, vehicle maintenance, GPS monitoring, fuel control, safety, and UAE vehicle compliance requirements.
Pay: AED1,267.62 - AED9,901.07 per month
Work Location: In person
