Kinwell is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to join our clinic in Pasco, WA.<br>

The Patient Care Coordinator will manage all aspects of the patient greeting and check-in. As the initial Kinwell representative, this individual will assist with prepping charts for daily appointments, manage the patient&rsquo;s appointment scheduler, maintain the cleanliness and supplies in the patient reception and waiting area, communicate arrival times to teammates and assist with check-out and follow up duties for patients. Lastly, this position will provide phone support for Kinwell's Call Center as needed, submit Health Information Management (HIM) requests and manage faxed documents sent to Kinwell.</div></div><div></div><div><div><i><br>

Ensure accurate patient records, confirming details such as insurance, treatment plans, and next steps.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, including following treatment plans, referral instructions, and scheduling follow-up procedures.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Advocate for patient needs and concerns to medical staff and administration.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>

High school diploma or equivalent.</div></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><div>
One year of experience in a healthcare or patient service role or equivalent experience.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Basic understanding of medical terminology and insurance verification.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care strongly preferred at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA), Red Cross, or Military Training Network (MTN) or willingness to obtain within 6-months of hire.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Strong customer service skills.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical insurance processes.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations; HIPAA regulations and privacy requirements; insurance and billing procedures.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Proficient in managing patient schedules and multitasking across platforms.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written).</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Associate degree or certification in healthcare administration, medical billing, or related field. (Preferred)</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Three years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in a coordinator or administrative role. (Preferred)</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Experience using advanced EMR systems, scheduling software, and patient communication platforms. (Preferred)</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div><br>
