To function as the inventory and receiving officer for Calo Kitchen, to monitor and report on the company&rsquo;s inventory. Your job is important since the efficient handling of the company&rsquo;s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals.
The successful inventory and receiving personnel is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Main Responsibilities<ul><li>
Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures</li><li>
Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers</li><li>
Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.</li><li>
Record daily Warehouse transfers to Kitchen</li><li>
Maintain FEFO (First Expiry First Out) on inventory movements</li><li>
Use Microsoft Office tools to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory</li><li>
Alert the buyers on stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus</li><li>
Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met</li><li>
Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.</li><li>
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation</li><li>
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards</li><li>
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers</li></ul>
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications<ul><li>
Must have had previous proven experience as an inventory and receiving officer or similar position.</li><li>
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory and stock management within the restaurant, hotel, or production facility (food) industries.</li><li>
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.</li><li>
Must be currently present in Oman.</li><li>
Must be a proficient communicator in English.</li><li>
Ensuring health, hygiene, and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the department in compliance with HACCP standards and procedures is a major plus.</li><li>
Good understanding of food safety.</li></ul>

 ROLE SUMMARY
 
 
 
 The position is mainly responsible to undertake the safety and security of mall customers, merchants, visitors and the staff.

 Secure and clear a 30-meter area, close entrances, and prevent video recording.
 </li>
 <li>
 Direct people to exits, ensure elevators/escalators/travellators are not used, and assist elderly or disabled individuals.

 Evacuate shops, toilets, parking areas, and ensure fire exits are open and machinery is turned off.
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide firefighters/emergency personnel to the incident location and request control room help for trapped individuals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain fast, accurate communication with control room and management; issue evacuation calls only after confirmation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all staff/customers gather at assembly points, forbid re-entry until management approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct daily checkpoints inside the mall, parking, and surrounding areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Submit daily reports to the control room, uphold world-class mall standards, and protect the mall&rsquo;s reputation.
