OVERVIEW:</b></p><p>
As a Dick's Sporting Goods Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst &ndash; Tech &amp; eCommerce, you will be responsible for assisting the Category Sourcing Manager to define and implement optimal procurement strategies to ensure maximized value within IT &amp; eCommerce categories. You will be responsible for overseeing (or leading) the Request For (RFI/RFP/RFQ) process in accordance with Dick's Strategic Sourcing process, leading supplier negotiations, SOW creation, review and execution and building effective supplier relationships. This role will specifically focus on our Strategic External Labor Optimization plans with our preferred labor partners with overflow to general Tech and eCommerce RFI/RFP/RFQ matters as needed.</p><p></p><p><b>
The Role You'll Play:</b></p><ul><li>
Work closely with business leaders and assist the Category Sourcing Manager to develop a comprehensive strategic procurement plan for Tec &amp; eCommerce, focused on external labor spend. This includes identification and recommendation of optimal procurement strategies through analysis of current spend, contracts and supply base, analysis of supply markets and market trends and identification and understanding of key cost drivers within the external labor market. Including oversight and reporting related to labor specific KPI&rsquo;s to support Technology leadership.</li><li>
Oversee (or lead) the Request For (RFI/RFP/RFQ) process in accordance with Dick's Strategic Sourcing Process. This necessitates strong collaboration with business partners.</li><li>
Lead fact-based supplier negotiations and progressive supplier relationship management activities. This includes development and execution of strategy and necessitates strong collaboration between business leaders and clear communication with suppliers.</li><li>
Work collaboratively to facilitate the contract review and negotiation process.</li><li>
Work closely and collaboratively with the entire procurement team to identify areas of opportunity and change management through continuous improvement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>

Inviting applications for the role of Direct Procurement Analyst, Process Developer<br>
The Direct Procurement Associate is responsible for working closely with our vendor partners and our customers in ensuring that all purchase orders are processed in a timely manner and billed correctly to client. This role is a buyer on the Drop Ship team who buys products for specific lines, providing product requirement guidance to Sales, and follows through with the fulfillment of each purchase<br>

Responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Qualify or reject purchase orders with detailed directions.</li><li>Establish and maintain internal and external partner relationships.</li><li>Collaborate with partners and Sales to modify purchase orders to meet customer needs promptly.</li><li>Explain key internal processes to vendor partners and Account Managers.</li><li>Update the status of aging purchase orders and follow up with partners on scheduled shipments.</li><li>Maintain part number information within client database, updating pricing and product line instructions for Sales.</li><li>Ensure the flow of information from partners to client.</li><li>Follow established procedures for daily work requirements and responsibilities.</li><li>Utilize new process improvement resources.</li><li>Stay current on departmental policies and product lines to ensure correct processing of drop ship purchase orders.</li><li>Work with management on approving exceptions outside departmental guidelines.</li><li>Seek assistance from Senior Specialist and Supervisor to resolve complex issues.</li><li>Review and analyse purchase orders for assigned product lines</li><li>Proactively work on issues causing purchase order placement delays and support additional information collection.</li><li>Communicate to Order Management or Master Data Teams regarding Item Master issues.</li></ul></div><div>

<ul><li>Any graduate</li><li>Industry Experience - Services or hi-tech industry</li><li>Good experience in Procurement Management</li><li>Process/Domain Experience:</li></ul>
o Procurement Management<br>
o Coordination with Logistics / Supply chain teams<br>
o Knowledge on end-to-end Procurement and AP process, PR and PO creation, vendor master management, goods receipting, procurement, related hold resolution, invoice processing, issue and hold resolution, vendor query management and AP related reconciliation activities.<br>
o Should have basic understanding of End-to-End Sourcing &amp; Procurement processes &amp; its implications.</div><div>
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills<br>
<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills.</li><li>Demonstrated resourcefulness with critical attention to details.</li><li>History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while</li></ul>
meeting deadlines.<br>
