 Wood is recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible to engage in the design, preparation of specification, data sheets and analysis of Process engineering requirements on a project.  Responsibilities
 
 
 
 The Lead Process Engineer will be responsible:

 The Lead Process Engineer is engaged in the design, preparation of specification, data sheets and analysis of Process engineering requirements on a project.

 Review and approve key process documentation from EPC Contractor(s) to ensure proposed designs meet the technical requirements of the project

 Support on tender or proposal, as per client standards, international codes, and project scope of work
 </li>
 <li>
 Planning and supporting on Process engineering design for field process engineering requirements, preparation of basic design, data sheets, specifications, support on design deliverables, FEED and detailed design of the process part of the project

 Ensuring that the design is carried out as per the industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management system
 </li>
 <li>
 Co-ordination with Project team and client
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and pre-qualification documents in what relates to Process engineering design
 </li>

 Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers and Process Discipline Manager
 </li>
 <li>
 Assimilating the evolution of new products and technology, and updating oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applications

 Identifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivity

 As Lead Discipline Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers, designers, and delivering the engineering requirements of the project

 Operational experience especially in RFCC and HCU. The candidate shall also have experience in Process Optimization, Feasibility Studies, FEED, Design, Commissioning, and Performance Testing.

 Lead a team(s) of Materials Corrosion Engineers to carry out the materials activities to generate relevant deliverables on time, meeting QMS requirement according to Client requirements.

 Ability to develop CTR based on scope of work and provide input to finalize the project execution schedule.

 Participate in HAZID, Design Reviews, HAZOP&rsquo;s, IPF Classifications, HSE related Workshops. Implement/practice/monitor Quality Management System in assigned projects in line with ISO 9001 Ensure seamless handover of deliverables to project teams.

 Demonstrated experience in cathodic protection Specification, Design, and Installation.
 
 
 Demonstrated experience in conducting Risk Based Inspection.
 
 
 Demonstrated experience in Painting and Coatings Specification
 
 
 Shall have experience in all ranges of metallic and non-metallic materials.
 
 
 Lead the material selection and corrosion control strategy for onshore oil and gas projects.
 
 
 Conduct technical reviews of project specifications, designs, and engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements.
 
 
 Identify, evaluate, and recommend materials suitable for various operating environments, considering factors like temperature, pressure, and corrosive media.
 
 
 Develop and implement corrosion protection systems, including coatings, cathodic protection, and chemical treatment solutions.
 
 
 Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team to meet project objectives and deadlines. Coordinate with project stakeholders, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
 
 
 Monitor project progress and ensure technical accuracy, cost control, and adherence to schedules. Perform detailed failure analysis, risk assessments, and life-cycle evaluations for materials and equipment.
 
 
 Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
